My two picky, picky little Poms willingly eat this food. I had been making their food because they have easily upset stomachs, wouldn’t touch commercially prepared food like Fresh Pet or Farmer’s Dog, and they refused all attempts at supplementing/switching to dry food - until we tried this. It is truly just perfectly sized for tiny mouths and teeth, which makes it inviting. They were a little resistant at first and would just occasionally nibble, but I always kept a couple of tablespoons available by their water and they eventually made the switch themselves because they liked it. I sprinkle a probiotic powder on it that they love and that starts them eating. They are satisfied, healthier, no stomach issues or nasty burps or poo, and I no longer cook for my dogs! The benefits of this food are worth the cost to me.

This is about the fifth time I have purchased this 15.5 lb bag, and it is the perfect fit for my two small Maltese. They absolutely love the chicken and brown rice flavor and never leave a bite behind. The "Small & Mini" kibble size is perfect for their little mouths, making it much easier for them to chew compared to standard-sized dog food. I’ve noticed their coats look great and their energy levels are high. If you have small breed dogs that are a bit picky, I highly recommend giving this a try. It’s consistent quality and definitely worth the price for the health of my pets!

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT DOG FOOD FOR SMALL DOGS. DIGESTS WELL AND BM'S ARE GOOD. MY 2 PUPS REALLY LIKE THIS FOOD. HOWEVER I HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY OLDER PUP AND HAD TO QUIT USING IT. PERHAPS I CAN REUSE IN FUTURE.

Small pellets, making it easy for my 4.5 lb dog to eat. My dog likes the food, but some days I have.to add human food to entice her to eat. I am still giving 5 stars because I know that my dog is a picky eather.

I like this dog food. However, this time the delivery was the worst. I could not use the dog food as it was all spilled in the bottom of the box and All laundry detergent spilled on it.

I switched to Hill’s Science Diet Small & Mini (Adult 1–6) after trying a few other brands that my little dog either turned her nose up at or that upset her stomach. This one has been perfect. The kibble pieces are actually small enough for tiny mouths, and my dog gobbles it up like it’s gourmet. I’ve noticed her coat looking shinier, her energy staying consistent throughout the day, and her digestion has been so much better — no more random tummy issues. I also appreciate that it doesn’t have a strong smell like some other dog foods do. If you have a small-breed dog that’s picky or sensitive, this food is honestly worth the switch. It’s dependable, vet-recommended, and clearly made with little pups in mind.
