ELAC Uni-Fi 2.0 UC52 Center Speaker (Each), Black (UC52-BK)

Works great. I replaced a decent Polk center with it in our livingroom system and reran the Odyssey setup on our Denon avr-s640h receiver. Dialog was greatly improved, especially off center. Clear and distortion free. My wife commented that it sounds like people on screen were having a conversation in the room. We liked it do much we replaced our old fronts with the matching bookshelf speakers. They look great and ferl very solid. Highly recommend.

I bought this because I was recommended getting a 3 way center channel with a coaxial center tweeter. I had a 2 way center channel with an offset tweeter - this is absolutely the vastly superior design for better sound. Big difference. My only complaint is that it’s quite large and doesn’t look very good. It’s a massive black box that is difficult to deal with from a room / visual design standpoint. You can’t really hide these things. But dialogue is crystal clear to everyone in the room and that’s what matters.

Upgraded from the ELAC Debut 2.0 C5.2 Center Channel Speaker and could notice an immediate improvement in sound quality. The midrange speaker makes a difference.

Great. Very good clarity. A major step up from the debut line. Clarity at higher volumes. Voices have a more defined and substantive presence.

Fantastic. Really good value for the price, significant upgrade from the dc52 it replaced. Concentric driver provides very detailed and clear mids/highs.

Bought this because of all the recommendations. Seemed well built and it was incredibly large and heavy. Unfortunately in use the audio sounded a bit muddy during dialogue scenes. I’ve tried cheaper options that sounded clearer. Not sure if I just got a defected one

The UC52 center is a nice match for DBR62 mains. The concentric design widens the sweet spot, improving the sound for off center listening. Did a lot of research and could not pass up this speaker when it went on sale. I am using a Denon AVR x4500h and Emotiva Bassx A500 amp. Sounds just right for me

I was building a home theater and took several weeks to finish it. I built it around ELAC speakers and wanted to have the timbre in all of them. So I purchased this center. When I finally installed, it has a sound that resemble when a driver is broken. My return window closed due to my house remodeling. I will need to contact ELAC directly. So buyer be aware that despite this center be not that expensive, it can have problems due to bad quality control. In adittion, I can see one the corner barely damage. The box which it came was a little bit bit up, but that could have been the shipping company.

These sound great, a discernible improvement over my old SP-C22. However, it seems ELAC poured everything in sound quality and cheaped out on the grill. The connecting pieces are thin and fragile, and one of them arrived broken. A magnetic attachment (ore even a simple sturdy one like on the SP-C22) would have been appreciated. The grill also features an uninterrupted honeycomb amount with no cutouts in front of the speakers. In short, it's an awesome center channel well worth the money, but the grill sucks.

Dopo aver comprato due Elac Uni-Fi Reference UBR62 ho deciso di migliorare anche il centrale e ho preso un Elac Uni-Fi 2.0 UC52 al posto dell'Elac DEBUT C6.2. Premetto che sono soddisfatto del prodotto, un ottimo diffusore centrale come il precedente, ma sono rimasto molto deluso dalla modalità di fissaggio della griglia: quando ho tolto, con massima attenzione, la griglia per la prima volta per estrarre la carta di protezione, si è subito rotto un piedino d'angolo. Cassa nuova ancora da posizionare e già rovinata, non vi dico la rabbia. Cara Elac, le Uni-Fi Reference UBR62 hanno una bella griglia magnetica, perchè non fare lo stesso anche con i centrali? Anche la Elac DEBUT C6.2 ha due piedini rotti, sempre trattata con massima attenzione. Adesso quando ascolto l'impianto vorrei togliere la griglia anche dal centrale, ma non la tocco per paura di ulteriori danni.

Awesome dialog clarity and full sound. Sounds amazing even before the break in period. It's big but it's worth the size ... big speaker = big sound. A++
