I purchased this electric bass guitar for my son, who is just starting to learn how to play. It's been a great choice for beginners. The instrument is very basic, having just one pickup. Some setting up needed, including filing the fret edges. Sound is clean, but the practice amp is very easily overloaded. For the price, however, I think that this kit is an excellent entry into electric bass playing.

Had to return as it was an electric bass and son wanted electric guitar and it was also too big, but it was beautiful and sound quality was awesome. If it had been what he actually wanted then would have kept it, but managed to get same exact brand and color as a smaller size in electric guitar. Highly recommend 3rd Ave.

Great for the money, everything you need to see if you like it or not

I was after a cheap bass guitar and thought I'd take a chance on a 'Used - Acceptable' version of this from Amazon Warehouse. It was half the normal price. I expected something a bit battered, in accordance with the description of 'Used - Acceptable'. And I thought: what's the worst, I can just return it if it's really no good. What I got instead was a bass that looks like it hasn't even been touched...not a single mark on it. The cosmetic damage mentioned in the item description isn't there. The bass itself is fine for a beginner and the amp does the job too. Bargain!

This is my first bass, I play guitar and thought why not try bass.

Had this set about a year now,bought for my son who wanted to learn bass guitar,he has hardly used it,very cheap set,sound's not the best and the amp is horrendous,guitar needs to be tuned every time used. And after 9 months and minimal use the amp now doesn't work at all. This is not even good for a starter set,my musician relative took one look at it and had one go at it and said it was a waste of money,and that was after a week of having it,should of listened to him and sent it back.

Do not buy, don’t get me wrong the bass sounds great and the amp too but it didn’t come with the thing that tells you what note you are playing and my bass came broken!! The top turner to adjust the strings came snapped off and looked rusted! Do not buy!!

Var skeptisk men den kom jättesnabbt och såg exact ut som det ser ut på webbsidan. Allt är väldigt fin kvalitet, den enda saken jag kan kritisera är att stativet är ganska meh, inte dåligt men inte super bra. Något som förvånade mig är att jag fick med en kod till gigajam som ger mig 6 månader gratis lektioner så jag ska definetivt kolla in det!
