We bought a 4-bulb light fixture for our upcoming bathroom remodel. The original socket rings were a thin aluminum, and they didn't all tighten down properly (and were difficult to tighten). Replaced them with these and they tightened easily and securely. Because the glass shades are frosted you won't see them anyway. We feel much more secure installing the fixture now and changing bulbs or removing the shades in the future. Inexpensive and very effective.

I ordered these rings to replace some on a chandelier that are not as thick as these. The photo shows the thinner replaced ring on the left. The ordered ring is on the right. I wanted thicker rings that are easier to grip and install, especially in the smaller shades I was installing. It would have been nice to have an option to order a PKG of 5 rings, the number I needed. I had to order 2 pkgs of 4 rings to have enough. The pkg includes one black 1-3/8" ring, to check if that's the size you need. I expected to receive a plastic bag of rings. Instead they come in a plastic case, which seems like overkill for something that isn't fragile.

Finally a socket collar that fits my oversized socket. Thought I needed a 1 5/8 (which they don't make), but thought I'd try one more time with this collar which is 1 1/2" inside diameter....it fits! Yippee!!!

Saved me from having to buy a new vanity light fixture. Fit my fixture perfectly keeping glass shade firmly in place. Nicest packaging of just about anything I’ve ever ordered.

In the house we bought the rungs were missing. After looking and calling the manufacture to try to get replacement which they didn’t sell. I decided to buy these since description matched what was in the manual. They are high quality, function and size are right on. Way better than the plastic ones I have had in past.

Rings fit the socket fine I have a tool to screw them on because glass globe are narrow and I can’t get my hand in there to turn the socket rings
