Size:Queen 60x84 8mil vinyl. The stand up safety liner is designed as an extra safeguard against unlikely leakage of your waterbed, and "stands up" inside your hardside waterbed's frame. How to correctly install the stand up safety liner:The safety liner must be installed so that it reaches the top of the frame perimeter. Fit the corners of the liner to corners of the frame. Smooth out all wrinkles over heater pad. It should be capable of holding the entire contents of the water mattress. Do not fill the mattress above the safety liner.

If mattress leaks this liner would prevent the water from getting out and causing any damage.
This liner was much better than my liner that I got in 1974 when I first purchased my waterbed, back then they were just a thin layer of plastic. This new liner has a support that holds it up against the sides and makes it much easier to install and stays up better than the old liner. I feel like this liner, in the event of a leak from the mattress this liner would prevent the water from getting out.
