Is the black cup sort of see through?

I don’t have black, but I do have it in deep purple, and it is see-through.

No - I find the internal "wall" often cracks. I'm pretty careful with them and there's been no obvious reasons for a break, like dropping it etc. I've had to order 5 of them in the past 12 months.

What are the dimensions of this cup in inches (height with lid, top diameter & bottom diameter)?

I don't know. I threw this cup out and got a bigger one. The cup is less than 600ml, only a bit over a half liter. I replaced it with a stainless steel one twice the size that can also hold hot beverages. The new on can hold more hot and cold drinks and is easier to clean.

What kind of plastic is the straw made out of?

Not sure exactly. Plastic is sturdy but straw bends. It is not hard plastic.
