There are three ways to connect. 3.5mm audio cable (indicator light is green), USB cable to get digital signal (indicator light is green), Bluetooth connection (indicator light is blue) You can use a wired connection and long press the volume key to switch modes.

I don't understand the question fully but the speakers don't broadcast a signal all the time only when you press and hold the volume button to be able to connect to them via Bluetooth will they come up. Hopefully that answers your question.
