Hands down; this is the best toilet seat I have ever had. There are so many things about this that I love: The soft-close feature: Who wants to hear a bang in the middle of the night? Or have to push their seat all the way down – as gently as they can? Not me. And not my partner. So soft-close has been a great addition to our toilet ventures. Less risk of smashing the porcelain to smithereens, and isn't likely to startle anyone with loud bangs. Easy installation: I've had experiences of so many different toilet seats that buckle under your weight as you sit down, or shift to one side, so you're left sitting at an angle – uncomfortable. Going to the toilet should never be uncomfortable. The instructions for this seat were clear, straightforward, and it was on within 30 minutes. Perfect fit: I made the effort to get the measuring tape out for this one as I didn't want to send back and reorder. I'm pretty sure it's a standard size, but regardless, it fits our loo really well. No gaps, no overhang. Comfortable: as far as toilet seats go, this is really comfortable to sit on. I think the rounded edge helps to take the pressure off the back of the thighs. It also warms to body temperature if sat on for a lengthier session, so although I doubt that was intended in the design, it's a welcome feature. Function: Works exactly as expected and shown in the product images. And now for my favourite aspect! Oh my gosh, what a dream to clean! There's one male in my home and one on the way, so having something easy to clean is important. I was getting really frustrated with our previous seats that would build up with urine that you just couldn't get to because it had gotten on the underside of the seat or nestled in the grooves of the underside lid. This seat, with its genius button removal function, literally changes everything. If you really wanted to you could soak the lid to thoroughly clean it, and it also make it so much easier to clean the actual back part of the toilet where urine often likes to stagnate. There's very few ridges that urine can get trapped in on this seat, and even if it did, a couple of q-tips or a cleaning toothbrush would be all it took to sort it out. It's absolutely the best seat I'll ever have and will buy one for my next home when the mortgage rates fall (hopefully...). I can't yet speak for the family aspect as my babe is still cooking, but if this seat lasts me into his toddling years and he's able to try out the little seat attachment, I'll edit this review!

My son said he felt like he was going to fall through when he first used it. Everyone has got used to it now. It was easy to fit, the soft-close definitely soft closes, and the quick release is a great idea, although the covers for them do NOT stay put. They are constantly moving about, they pop up everytime someone sits on the seat, which is very frustrating. Other than this issue, the toilet seat is great. This is an easy to fit toilet seat made from reasonable quality plastic. It was not as solid as the previous toilet seat we had , which was 15 years old, but all-in-all it is good value-for-money.

The toilet seat is ok. I've had better quality before. It's not that sturdy and has some movement. I don't think it will last that long but does the job for now.

Looks good and feels sturdy enough, for being lightweight plastic. But they're serious when they warn you not to stand on it. Arrived promptly. Fiddly to align correctly with bowl (this takes trial and error, and each attempt warps the washer a little), but got there in the end. Once the old seat was off (this took over an hour, since the hardware was rusted together-- not the new seat's fault), it took about a half hour to fit the new one on. Only tool needed for this was a standard Philips head screwdriver. Also, I found the white plastic plugs you need to put in before the screws can be introduced a bit tricky. At first, I thought they were too big for the holes in my porcelain, but figured out that (in my case, at least: others may not encounter this problem) I had to bash them fully into place (head flush with porcelain surface) before I could move on to the screwing part. I used the handle of my screwdriver for the bashing, as I didn't think that taking a hammer to the toilet would be a good idea. Soft close works great, though could be a tad faster. Overall, a huge improvement on our previous seat.

Installation requires a screw driver. As a hopelessly inept DIYer this was easy. The lid pops off, which makes it easy to clean.

Ho acquistato questo coprivater e rispetto ad altri modelli che ho provato, questo si installa con un sistema di fissaggio dall’alto, che lo rende leggermente diverso dai classici che si stringono dal basso. Il montaggio è comunque abbastanza semplice e una volta fissato risulta stabile. È presente la chiusura rallentata (soft close), che evita rumori e lo rende più pratico nell’uso quotidiano, e anche lo sgancio rapido per facilitare la pulizia. Nel complesso è un prodotto funzionale e ben fatto, con un sistema di montaggio un po’ più particolare rispetto ai modelli standard.

Je suis locataire et je souhaitais changer l'ancienne lunette des WC en bois non hygiénique qui était petite et pas amortie. J'ai choisi ce modèle car il est silencieux et facilement déclipsable pour un nettoyage complet du trône. La notice fournie en Français n'est pas vraiment nécessaire, le montage s'effectue en une petite 1/2 h si comme moi vous êtes perfectionniste et que vous prenez le temps de bien ajuster la lunette sur le bâtît. La manipulation pour retirer le siège du support est rapidement faisable d'une seul main en appuyant sur le bouton. Cela permet de pouvoir nettoyer parfaitement la faïence et la lunette. Le siège est "confortable" à l'utilisation et sa fermeture est souple et sans à-coup. A voir dans le temps mais le produit me semble être très correcte pour du made in China le plastique utilisé semble de bonne facture.
