Rugged, Dependable, Quality, Easy to Use and Fast Charging Portable Power Station
I purchased a Jackery Explorer 300 Portable Power Station on 9-1-2020 and it arrived a few days later via FedEX. My decision to purchase the E300 was based on the results of my previous experience with a Jackery E160, E500 and a Jackery E1000. I found the Jackery Power Station to be very useful, easy to use and easy to charge with the Jackery SolarSaga 100W Solar Panel, AC Charger or the Car Port. I use the E300 to power my small electrical devices during the power outages that often occur after storms or traffic accidents in my area. The E1000 will take care of powering my Maytag Refrigerator/Freezer but I needed another power station and I chose one with more capacity than the E160 for some of the longer power outages.I have tested the E300 with several LED & CFL lights that can be used in table lamps and the best one is a 14W Grt Val 1500 Lum LED 'DayLight' bulb, It draws 20 Watts and the E300 will power it for 12-14 Hours from 100% to 10% battery charge levels. The fan will run part time and is very quite. I place the LED light bulb in a small table lamp and it can be moved as needed. You probably already have LED's in your table lights so just use one of them. I also tested a Philips 11 Watt 1000 Lumens LED light for 6 Hours and the E300 charge level decreased from 90% to 60%. I also tested a 5 Watt Onite 400 Lumens USB LED light for 9 Hours and the charge only changed from 90% to 75%. Any of these three choices are a big improvement over my LED lanterns that start out bright but quickly dim unless you run them on low power. As a result of purchasing the E300 I have retired several of my D-Cell LED lanterns that were being used for the power outages and replaced them with table lamps, rechargeable LED Lights and flashlights with rechargeable AA & AAA batteries.I have a UPS to protect my desktop computer that gives me 20 minutes of runtime in a blackout but if I plug the UPS with the connected computer into my E300 I can extend the operating time at least two more hours. My internet also provides my telephone service and the U-Verse modem needs power or I lose telephone service. The Power Lift Chair can operate from the E300. The "Merlin@Home" Transmitter needs power to send pacemaker data and worked just fine when tested.I like having more than one power station because I won't need extension cords for each device that I want to power and that also lets me place then in different parts of the house. The E300 has some new features that were not on the E240. The AC Inverter is now 300 Watts (pure sine wave), the 13.3 Volt regulated car port output has a nice cover and the USB output has 60W PD USB-C, QC3.0 USB-A, USB type A port (2.4A). The MPPT charger provides faster charge rates from solar (5.5H), AC (4.5H) and from a car port (5H).An important feature of the Jackery Explorer 300 is the pass through charging can be used to supply power continuously to a critical load by charging the E300 from the DC Carport on another Jackery Explorer. If the load on the E300 is 75 Watts or less the E300 will stay almost fully charged. The Jackery (E1000, E500, E440, HLS290, E240 or E160) can supply power until their battery is exhausted. This method will allow you to keep the E300 in a critical place without the need to move it outside to recharge by a Solar Panel or Generator. The other Jackery Explorer unit can then be moved and recharged as needed. The DC charging cable you will need is supplied with the Jackery Explorer 300.The E300 is much more useful than just for power outages and I am discovering more uses every day. The E300 provided power when the wife needed a heating pad while setting in a wheel chair a few days ago. I have a solid state Oscilloscope that the Jackery E300 can power for several hours and that makes one of my best pieces of test equipment truly portable. The E160 and the E300 are used to provide power for my Ham Radio equipment when operating at temporary locations. Two things that would help with my Ham Radio Equipment is the addition of Anderson PowerPole connectors on the DC input and DC output. This would help when charging the E300 and powering my radio equipment from the E300. The ability to turn off the "Auto-power off feature when the draw is under 10 watts" would really be handy. This feature is great for saving the battery but not so good when powering tranceivers that are monitoring an emergency radio frequency. You just might miss your call. For maximum battery power, charge Lithium-ion Batteries every 6 months to compensate for the self discharge and for longer life, charge before going below the 20% charge level. The Jackery Explorer 300 is well worth the price and is expected to provide excellent service for many years. Here are some photos of just a few of the items that the E300 can power.Jackery Explorer 300 Waveform; Heating Pad on Wheelchair; AA & AAA Battery Chargers; Rechargeable lights; Ham Radio Equipment; Jackery Explorer 300 with accessories; AC, DC & USB fans; Solar Charging in Morning Sun; Power lift Chair; Oscilloscope; AC, DC & USB Powered Lights

Great Value
It's been 3onths using the 300 Jackery. It's been just asAdvertised. Charges with adapter plug in about 3 hours. Charges everything I throw at it. Of course your not gonna power your fidge or A/C. As for charging electronics and daily mobile devices quickly this thing it tops. I plan to use it near daily just because plugs in my house are not abundant. Happy guy with a reliable chargering device that.carries very easy. Like a oversized lunchbox!. Id buy agian - next time gonna be the Big boy.

Perfect for Power Outage and Weekend Camping Trips
Living in Florida, I’m no stranger to power outages when storms roll through — I’m always scrambling at the last minute hoping the electricity will hold. That’s part of why I bought the Explorer 300… and also because I love being outdoors and going on camping trips or spontaneous weekend getaways.⚡ Backup Power When It MattersWhen a storm hits or the power goes out unexpectedly, the Explorer 300 gives me a quick, easy backup so I’m not left completely in the dark. I can charge phones, laptops, a few lights or fans — enough to get through a blackout without stressing. Because it’s clean and quiet (no gas, no fumes), it’s much more convenient than a traditional generator when I’m stuck at home.🏕️ Great for Camping & Outdoor TripsWhen I’m headed out on camping or a weekend trip, this little power station is a game-changer. It’s light enough to throw in the car or a bag and carry easily. I can charge my phone, run a small fan, power a laptop, or light up a tent at night. It feels like having a portable, travel-friendly power source that doesn’t weigh me down — perfect for someone like me who loves getting outside.GearLab+2Tool Reviews Ninja+2✅ What I LoveThe portability — it’s so light and compact that I don’t stress about it being bulky.GearLab+1It handles small electronics really well (phones, laptops, LED lights, small fans, etc.).GearLab+1Having a backup ready when hurricanes hit — gives peace of mind.Being able to unplug and bring it camping — no worry about plugging into a wall or dealing with noisy generators.⚠️ What to KnowIt’s not built to run heavy-duty appliances — so don’t expect it to run a full house’s A/C or a fridge for days. But for essentials and small devices — at home or on the road — it does a surprisingly good job.GearLab+1💡 Final Thoughts: For Florida Homes and Outdoor LoversIf you live somewhere with unpredictable storms and you love getting outside — like me — the Explorer 300 isn’t just a “just-in-case” backup. It’s a reliable, useful tool for both everyday emergencies and fun adventures. I’m really glad I have it.Last but not least: great value for the money!

Excellent portable, practical and reliable power station
It has been an excellent investment. It is compact, light and very easy to transport, which makes it perfect for trips, camps or to have as a backup in case of a blackout.
User
Good enough for one night camping
Every thing is ok. It is doable for one night camping but it is not enough for two nights camping if use an electric refrigerator. Also, it shown the available hours when you charging but it is weird that different wattage has the same hours. It is worth of the value, and recommend to have it if you like camping.

Great little power station
I love this Jackery, I have 3 different sizes but use this one the most. I have a wheelchair I use that has a rechargeable battery and the Jackery let's me charge it quickly in the car as I'm traveling. It's perfect for recharging all your small items. I know there's other portable power stations but Jackery is what I first bought and have stayed with this brand. I can't compare it to other brands because I have not tried other brands but for what I have needed them for they've always did what I needed. I've convinced friends and family to buu different size Jackerys and they all have been just as happy with the brand as I have. I do a lot of car camping and having the different sizes make camping fun and having 3 different ways to charge them makes it convenient. I haven't tried recharging this small one with the solar panels I have but the car charger works great as does the electricity charger. Definitely a must have for power outages and car camping.

The best purchase I think I’ve made!
I've owned my Jackery Explorer 300 for a couple of years, and it's been one of the best purchases I've made. I originally bought it to power my diesel tent heater after we experienced a major power outage that lasted nine days, with broken trees and widespread damage throughout my area. Having a reliable backup power source gave me tremendous peace of mind.Since then, I've found myself using it for much more than emergency preparedness. I often take it out into my yard to charge my iPad so I can relax and watch YouTube or listen to music and podcasts while enjoying the outdoors. One day, it unexpectedly stopped working. I contacted Jackery's customer support, and I couldn't have been more impressed. The representative was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. We went through several troubleshooting steps and determined there was a glitch with my unit. Without any hesitation, he arranged to send me a replacement along with a prepaid return shipping label for the original unit. The entire process was quick, easy, and completely hassle-free.Outstanding products are important, but outstanding customer service is what creates loyal customers. Jackery has earned my trust with both. I highly recommend them for their quality, exceptional customer support, and the confidence they provide knowing I have dependable backup power whenever I need it.Ice and snow... bring it on—I'm ready!

CPAP Use
I bought this specifically for powering my CPAP unit when on camping trips. Previously, I had been bringing along a 12 V deep cycle marine battery for 2 to 3 day trips and this is more than enough for a weeks worth of nights using the CPAP, but it’s bulky and heavy. When I camp, I use a Phillips dream station CPAP with a pressure setting of 7.0 and I remove the humidifier from the unit, and I do not have a heated hose, so the only draw is from the blower motor itself. This is where the new Jackery E300 comes into play. I have a DC power adaptor for my CPAP unit, so I plug it into the DC input on the Jackery. I tried it inside the house, kind of as a control sample, to see how many nights I could get off of a full charge. I was very pleased with the results. I ended up getting 4 full nights totalling 35 hours of CPAP run time. There was 2% left after night 4. I’m going on a 2 night trip next weekend, so I am quite confident that I will be able to power my CPAP with this unit in the outdoors even if the temperature gets down to around zero at night. I will update this review after my trip, but so far, I am very pleased with this purchase - and it only weighs 7 pounds.UPDATE: I just came back from the two night camping trip and I used my Jackery to power my CPAP in the woods. I started off with 100% charge, and after two nights I was only down to 71%. I even used it to charge my phone and bluetooth speaker on the second night. It was -3 both nights, so I was getting very similar numbers outside in that cold compared to inside my warm house. I am satisfied with this purchase. I look forward to many more nights of using this unit.

Great product. Durable, light, and holds a lot of power for its size.
I'm absolutely LOVING that power stations are becoming so much more affordable, and this one is a clear win for so many situations. It solves so many problems. As a photographer and DJ, I'm constantly looking for power in places where it isn't available, and having one of these with me has been such a lifesaver. I can charge equipment remotely and, in a pinch, this will run my entire DJ rig - two speakers, laptop, decks, LED lighting bar, microphones, etc. - for around two full hours before it's fully depleted. Obviously, results will vary depending on your power needs, but this unit is reliable, light, and sturdy.

Worked Well at First, but Battery Degraded and Customer Service Fell Short for Canadian Buyer
I purchased my Jackery Explorer 300 on Amazon.ca back in October 2022. For the first while it performed well, and because I used it only lightly, I expected it to last for years. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case. Recently, I noticed the battery draining from 100% to 0% within just a few days, even when the unit wasn’t being used. For a product marketed for reliability and long-term standby power, this was surprising and very disappointing. When I reached out to Jackery support, I explained the situation and my concern that the battery might no longer be functioning properly. Their response was courteous, but ultimately not very helpful for me. I was told that they cannot accept trade-ins or repairs from Canada due to shipping restrictions. The only option offered was to ship the unit back using a U.S. address—which I don’t have—which means repairs or warranty support are effectively inaccessible unless you can cross the border or know someone who can help.As an alternative, they offered a 25% discount on a comparable new unit from their Canadian website. While I appreciate the gesture, it still feels frustrating to be left without practical repair service for a product that hasn’t seen heavy use and is experiencing what seems like premature battery failure.Overall, the Explorer 300 is a convenient, portable power station when it works, but my experience with long-term reliability and the limited support options for Canadian customers makes it difficult to recommend. If you’re in Canada, be aware that repair or replacement options may be very restrictive. I would definitely suggest looking at other options!Updating my review to reflect Jackery’s resolution. My unit failed just outside the warranty window, and I initially contacted support hoping to arrange a repair. Their representative Ben reviewed the situation and offered a full replacement, which has now arrived. This outcome was more than I expected, and I appreciate the willingness to stand behind the product. Great customer service and a fair resolution — I’m satisfied with how this was handled.
