Academy Light Vehicles of Allied And Axis During WWII Model Kit

Though 1/72 scale is really tiny for vehicles, it's the preferred scale for my aircraft, so these fit in well with my newly discovered interest in dioramas. The models are, despite their size, exquisitely detailed. Great care needs to be taken, both in assembly and painting, but also in cutting from the sprues. With a little care, a steady hand and a set of magnifying glasses, you get there nice diorama vehicles and an assortment of accessories.

Go together well. Use an exact to trim sprue spots. Have tweezers ready! Very nice and true to scale

Excellent model.

These are the best kits on the market for this scale. All other manufactures of 1/72 scale Jeeps and Kublewagens are out of scale or don't fit together well. Jeeps usually come as extras for a larger kit and everyone that I've built before, ended up in the parts bags or blown up with firecrackers. This kit allows you to even see the engines, they have clear acetate for the windows, and other great details. This is a good 1 in 3 kit because you can build one a day, put it down for a while and then finish the other kits another day.

Nice model. Just a bit smaller then you think. All 1/72 are not the same. if you place next to a 1/72 scale figure you will find that it will not fit right . Other then that very tiny parts and if you have a heavy hand you will crush parts like the mirrors.

5/5 Stars Overall A great set of 3 vehicles, as well as some additional scenic material such as oil barrels. All three look amazing assembled, though the Kettenkrad is the roughest of the bunch. The inclusion of the additional scenery bits brings the set up to a full five stars. The downside: Academy tends to make complicated, somewhat fragile models, and these are no exception. Take extra care when cutting things off of sprues, several pieces ended up breaking while being clipped until I warmed the plastic first. Overall, I would say it is an amazing set, but would recommend only fairly seasoned model makers buy this. If you are fairly new to the hobby, as I am, it can have some difficult moments.

¡ Me ha parecido extraordinario para el precio que tiene ! El fabricante es Academy. Lo malo los gastos de envío, mayores que el precio del producto. Como es atrezo te obliga a coger varios para compensar. PD. Que conste que ha variado el precio, a mi me costo. 4'02 €, de ahí mi comentario.

Ce set est dédié pour compléter des dioramas en cours de réalisation: diorama 4: loco Br52 à l'entrée d'une gare attaqué par 1 Spitfire, quelques véhicules allemand y seront présentés; diorama 5: Pegasus Bridge "version sratch: pour les connaisseurs" il me manque la jeep Willys; diorama 6: Tobrouk.... Pour le moment je suis sur le diorama 3: Fury du film "même nom" avec 6 scènes représentées! Plus mon réseau de train belge HO 15m x 1m sur 2 niveaux! Je recommande vivement cette articlr qui d'ailleurs je vais très bientôt reprendre 1boite!
