Better than the Original DM Screen
An excellent DM screen & additional items to help the game proceed efficiently. If you are trying to decide which to buy, between this & the original DM screen, I would highly recommend this kit. Only items the DM screen covers that this kit doesn't is: sizes of creatures, spell area effect diagram & the small chart of things you can do on your turn. Everything else that's included in the DM screen is covered in this kit either on the screen or in one of five laminated handouts. The handouts are double sided with context such as: Actions in Combat, Supply Tracker charts, Wilderness Chases & Complications, Wilderness Journeys which has tables for random encounters, monuments, weird locales & food & water needs, plus a total of three full page hex maps. In addition to the screen & handouts, it also comes with a fold together card box, nine initiative tracker cards & 18 conditions cards that are useful for the players to hold onto so they don't have to keep checking info in books or looking online to know what it means to be exhausted, grappled & the new conditions of being in extreme heat, high winds or extreme cold. Mine arrived in excellent condition & arrived one day after the release date. I would love to see a screen kit like this released to cover Dungeons, Caves/Sewers and Urban settings. Game on!

Excellent
I hate DM screens that have random art in them, a DM screen should set the scene and be immersive for the players looking at it. This one does it in spades. Beautiful landscape and excellent quality. It's think and stands well.

Gorgeous screen, great value
This is one of the best-looking official DM screens I've seen — peaceful forest green and sky blue instead of the typical "yer all gonna die" black and red. It has a gorgeous landscape continuing across the four panels. Each panel has a different interesting scene: an ancient shipwreck in a desert wilderness crater, a silver dragon atop a mountain crag, a green dragon flying over a forest, and a kraken lurking just off the rocky coast. Also included are laminated sheets with wilderness adventuring information, hex map sheets, a handy actions in combat sheet, and some punch-out condition and initiative cards with a punch-out cardboard case. The DM screen and sheets fit back into the folder it comes in, keeping everything tidy and protected. The cards fit more easily into the case if you slightly trim the punched edges and round the corners. I put two pieces of clear tape on the case to seal the bottom and side where they fold in, and it works great. Whether or not you ever intend to run a Wilderness campaign, this set is a solid value, and it's gorgeous, to boot!

Lots of info in the package
This set up really is nice. I like the cards, hex map bits for drawing on, really all it comes with. I would say buy it if you like it all but beware, a third or a little more of the inside is all about conditions. I don’t know why everything WoTC puts out for a DM screen has to have the conditions listed in it. It takes up too much space and could have other charts added if they didn’t put a huge pic with the description of the condition. The cards are explanatory enough. I like it bc the art looks really good and it’s a hard back screen, not cheap card-stock stuff. I printed out some other chart info and just use clothes pins for holding the paper to this one, covering the area of the conditions. Maybe a couple maps of cities or something, Waterdeep, Baldur’s gate,.. a map of the Sword Coast. Something else though. I’d probably pay a few more bucks for a set of dice too. You can never have enough dice.

Very nice! Pretty compact. Only wish it would come with a case that you could close securely

Much better than the original 5e DM's screen
The art is better. The board stock is better. The information selection is a little better. The added extras, especially the initiative and status cards, are really useful. All around, just a fantastic DM screen. I'd buy this over the original 5e one any day of the week. If you need a new screen, I don't think you can do better for the price.

Great QoL Improvement for DMs
As a DM running a campaign that relies heavily on exploration, this is a great quality of life improvement. My players really like the initiative cards, I like all the rules and systems it came with, and the dm screen is actually useful and has some great art.

It is a very good kit and brings a series of useful things considering its price. The DM screen is awesome (prettier than the standard one with the red dragon) and the initiative/condition cards are extremely useful and fun to have at the table. I didn't use the hexagon maps because we already use square ones at our table, but it is a good thing to have. The pages with the rules are the only things that are quite specific to wilderness but well, it's the theme of the kit, what would you expect? Summing up, great kit, would recommend it!

Great for those impromptu one shots when friends are over and you haven't got everything sorted. Also. The initiative order cards get a workout too.
