No the bollard simply has terminals to connect you electricty flex into it via the bottom. Any form of control i.e switching or sensor would need to be installed befor running the cable to the bollard.

What cable And flags did everyone use for these? Thinking pond cable from screw fix and cheap b and q flags and little concrete under

I used SWA 3 core 1.5mm, maybe slightly over the top, the pond cable you mention would be fine also, Mine are mounted on decking so was an easy fix, if you are going on flag stone then a 20mm hole would be needed for cable entry and fixing them use the self drilling concrete fixings also get these at screwfix
