Can I use this in on a wooden surface?

I have mine in a wooden frame. The ink is in the paper you just press down the paw/hand etc

How many times can you use each ink pad?

I used the ink pad twice. But second time doesn't come out as clear.

Which side is the ink side and which side is the plastic side?

That is easy to work out other than touching it, the plastic one seems shinier then the ink side on the ones I have when you catch the light on it!
