Great remote control for the digital camera!
Makes firing the shutter without the risk of moving the camera a breeze. This is so reasonably priced that I bought quite a few. Comes with an extension to make it even more useful.

Sometimes wired is better than wireless
This is simple and perfect and does what it's supposed to do. It comes with an extension, but you can by a longer one if you need with any 2.5mm TRS Stereo Male to Female Audio Extension Cable. It's refreshing to just plug something in without having to worry about frequencies, channels and bluetooth.

Works perfectly for my Sony
I have been using this thing quite a bit and it has not failed me once. We will see how it holds up long term versus the Sony wireless. Up to this point it is a great alternative to the much more expensive wireless remotes. Even though it's wired it includes an extension which I have not used yet. The locking on the shutter button works everytime for longer exposures in Bulb mode. The one thing I DO NOT LIKE, but that is my shooting style, is that when you push the shutter button it causes the camera to focus every time, a lot like the half shutter focus feature on cameras. I am not a fan of that as I always use back button focus and usually have my focus set before I take the very first photo and do not need to refocus unless I completely change compositions. As far as I know, this feature can not be turned off, so if you are a back button focuser type picture taker this might be quite annoying. Best bet is set your focus then turn the cameras focus to manual.
