Outdoor String Lights 96FT(48×2), Commercial Grade Heavy Duty Patio Lights

Great lights. Used in my carport.

I’ve purchased candelabra based string lights before but over time they fill up with rain water. These slightly larger lamps are shaped better and after 5 good rain storms no water in the lamps yet. The 1 watt lamps offer a fair amount of light. I used them to add light to my community pool deck. I used four strings to end and just hooked them over the wires on the top of a chain link fence, I will probably buy four more strings for another side of the pool deck. The shatterproof lamps and the high efficiency LEDs are a fantastic way to provide warm festive lighting to a dark area. With one watt per lamp you can plug several strings end to end and with some power distribution, you can put 1,800 bulbs on one 20 amp circuit.

These are well manufactured, heavy duty light strands. I have no doubt they will handle any kind of weather. They are perfectly bright outside with a warm lighting. Minor complaint: When stranding the strings together, you there is a sizeable excess between the strands that must be dealt with to make the lights look continuous. (I tightly wound the excess and zip tied it. Not perfect, but it's acceptable, especially because in the dark you don't notice it.) I attached these to my vinyl fence using command strip metal hooks attached to the fence with copious silicone glue. Works great and it's removable.

I was hesitant to buy these, since various parts of the item description and illustrations do not agree. Let me confirm that the bulbs in this product are indeed shatterproof, and are made of impact-resistant plastic. The cord is also quite thick and strong, and is securely molded into the individual drops for the sockets. This is important to me, as a fat raccoon or something similar had broken my old string lights multiple times by trying to use them as a hanging bridge. This had left me with a broken product, bare electrical connections in my yard, and quite a bit of shattered glass hidden in my lawn. This product solved all of those issues. It is well made, and I feel that these lights will last for many years. Helpfully, each 48 foot strand included 3 replacement bulbs. The bulbs secure tightly into the somewhat flexible and stretchable sockets, forming a good seal against the weather.

I ordered these to use in our outdoor picnic/party area for an upcoming oyster roast. In the past I’d spend hours setting up and taking down temporary lighting but this year I chose to use these lights. I was already using the same lights on my pool deck and we love them. Not only do they look good but they provide adequate lighting without taking away from the ambience of being outside. I did find that some of the lights didn’t come on at first and I had to get the ladder out and turn them in a little bit tighter. Being water tight and new, they needed a minor adjustment. Now the area is not just for parties and we can enjoyed the area even more with permanent lighting.

We go these over 3 years ago if not more and only one bulb died. Otherwise, it looks amazing as it lit up our entire large back yard. Thanks!

I love these lights! Work great! Look great! My original strands have lasted years years. The ones that haven't are because they fell in the ice rink when it was melting - basically a pool and while they hold up to rain and snow, being submerged is really too much to ask for. I also had some squirrels eat away a couple hanging bulbs and wires... the rest of the string continued to work - maybe they wanted it for their nests because they look really pretty in the trees or maybe the squirrels are afraid of the dark?!? They haven't touched the new string.
