Am I cook inside the oven with this tagine?

NO! It is NOT designed to go in the oven! Only for Hobs/Stove-top use. This is a generic aluminium design branded with numerous supplier names and found in numerous retail outlets including several here on Amazon. If you approach the supplier with your question they will inform you that it is not designed for oven use - only hob/stove. If you put it in the oven the plastic and silicon parts will get too hot and potentially get damaged. This is why it does not say anywhere in the product description that it can go in the oven. It can't, but they don't state that directly in the product description because they want you to buy it, thinking it can go in the oven! Absolutely not for oven use - only hob use!

Does this tagine need to be prepared before use

No! I used mine straight away and I love it. I use it for everything. I used to use my wok for everything, but I love my tagine even more 👍
