I’ve been looking for a good set of cat bowls for my kitty for a while. I had the standard floor-level bowls that were perfect circle shapes. My cat would always seem to choke on dry food and stopped finishing her wet food. I did some research and discovered the circular bowls could cause whisker fatigue. I also learned that elevated bowls could help with comfort and vomiting. So I stumbled upon cat guru. I went with the ceramic bowl so that I could microwave her moist food in it after taking it out of the fridge. I also like that it helps with spills, whereas the flat design looks like the food would slide right off. I purchased the bowl with the table. Upon receiving the items, the boxes they come in are cute and simple. I like the weight of the ceramic, and it was easy to clean. It does get slippery with the soap, so be careful. The plastic cutouts on the table are a good fit for my fingers. The rubber mat the comes with the bowl also does a great job of keeping the bowl in place. I put some moist food in it right away and watched my cat eat. It seemed to be at a comfortable height for her. The bowl is also pretty wide so there is room for her whiskers. They might hit the sides occasionally, but I think it will be better than the constant contact they had with her circular bowls. I love the quality and am happy with the company. I think my cat will like this bowl too.

I didn't know whisker fatigue was a problem for cats until I noticed my senior cat not finishing his food like he used to. I didn't realize it was because of the type of bowl I was using to put his food in (deep bowl, wasn't shallow). I came across this CatGuru bowl and so far it's working out! Thanks to the shallow depth of the bowl my cat doesn't appear to have whisker fatigue anymore; he finishes his food with no problem. I like the rubber pad that comes with the bowl (it also fits on the food table that pairs with the bowl). Food stays in the bowl while my cat eats, which is great because I don't have to clean up kibble bits that falls on the floor anymore. Very easy to use and clean. Works well overall. Highly recommend this bowl! Might buy one for my dog too hehe.

Great solution for my Italian Greyhound who has lost most of his teeth. He can only lick his food and this has helped to contain most of the mess. Great size and easy for him to eat from when elevated.

These are really nice cat bowls. They are tough, even though they're ceramic. They've fallen a couple of times but they haven't broken. I got the elevated bases too but my cats seem to like them better without the base. The bowls don't tend to move around while the cats are eating out of them. They are a nice size for whiskers. They are easy to wash and after many months of use, there are no wear marks at all.

Oh my gosh. These bowls have made my life so much easier- and cleaner. I have 3 cats that make a huge mess with their wet food. If I put it in a bowl they grab a mouthful and drop it on the floor to eat it - probably because they don’t like their whiskers touching the sides of the bowl. So I put their food on a plate. But then they push the food off the sides of the plate and onto the floor. There was constantly dried food stuck to the floor or counter, wherever I fed them. I used mats but the mats quickly got disgusting and needed to be cleaned so much it was too much work. I resorted to putting paper towels under their dishes instead so I could throw the mess away after every meal. But it was just really wasteful. I thought there HAD to be a better way - and I was right. These dishes are AMAZING. They are their perfect size for a kitty’s face. They have grooves to keep the wet food in place and a high back to keep in contained. The weight of the dish and silicone mat makes the dish unloveable. My cats are able to eat all their food with no mess!! And the dishes are super easy to clean. I absolutely love it!! Thank you for making these!!

"Brown Kitty" is a large head Tom cat (we recently chipped and neutered him) and as he put back on weight our other cat bowls were too small so he was eating off one of our luncheon plates (once we got him used to eating out of a bowl and not off the ground -- he had scabs on his chin) and that was sliding around. This bowl’s shape keeps his food in the bowl and he can stick his whole face in it without food going everywhere. At fist he was eating out of all of the bowls, but now he prefers this one. He’s an affection eater and we have to love on him and move his food into a pile for him (multiple times), so this bowl has been very helpful. Here are pictures of our progress. We think that he was abandoned (March or April) and had been outside for several months without access to regular meals. He was very friendly and immediately wanted to come in the house but we hesitated getting too attached until he was checked out by a vet and got his shots. The "porch picture" was from July, right after he first showed up and we were trying to get him used to people again. The "CatGuru bowl" is a more recent picture of him (from September) when we were still trying to get his weight back up. It now October's end and he's been showing up for regular meals, hanging out and with the rain / cold snap he has grudgingly accepted the offer to stay inside at night. Our time and attention (and this bowl) has been instrumental in getting him to eat more calmly and relax. Anyway, I cannot say enough great things about this bowl. It’s helped him feel secure and has assisted us in bringing him back from the wild.

I have cats who were bottle babies and manage to push their food forward because they didn’t learn to eat normally. Except they also have massively long whiskers so it’s hard to find bowls with a high side that doesn’t bother their whiskers. This bowl was big enough to hold an appropriate amount of food and wide enough that their whiskers didn’t touch the side. I also appreciate that it’s heavy and doesn’t push around when my one cat shoves his whole head in it. The mat that it comes with also works super well to keep it in place, the bowl is heavy enough that we haven’t needed it but if it was for a dog or if my cats were any bigger I’d definitely use it. The only thing I wish was different is I wish it was a raised feeder but I can put it up on a riser, I just need to find one that fits it. Kind of pricey (around $20 when I bought it) but seems worth it. It hasn’t chipped like other ceramic bowls I’ve had either.

Por fin consigo un comedero que mi gato no tira comida al suelo, es un producto muy bueno, lo acabo de probar y es efectivo , el único pero que le pongo es que me parece carísimo.lo he puesto en alto para más comodidad del gato . Al ser un persa en todos los comedero que he probado tiraba toda la comida , con este un par de croquetas como mucho , fantástico producto lo recomiendo. Y preparar 💵💵

Was a great bowl for my Cavalier King Charles (he is old school with a short lil nose) who has always been VERY slow and messy when eating from a normal bowl. I used in on a little stand to elevate it for him and he made less mess and finished a little faster - but not too fast. Unfortunately I broke it when washing it - was slippery from suds and slipped out of my hands breaking when it hit my ceramic farmhouse/belfast sink

No joke, I love what this bowl has done for my life! No more mountains of wasted, dried out, cat food on the floor, is such a wonder! Materials seem rhey would last a lifetime, and not plastic so better fir the cat and the planet.

Très bonne qualité, en céramique solide et épaisse, sa forme évite aussi que mon chat mette des croquettes partout autour de la gamelle : tout reste à l'intérieur ! Le prix est malgré tout un peu trop élevé pour "juste" une gamelle pour chat...
