You can't complain too much when spending so little for this product, but it originally only played audio out of the right sided speakers in the car. There was a brief moment where, for no obvious reason, it began to play dual audio but then the next day we were back down to right-sided only.After returning it for a replacement item, the new one works perfectly! I would drop it to 4 stars because of the first one not working but it’s so cheap, it’s hard to be too upset.

This product solves a problem of having a 2012 vehicle and wanting to connect your iPhone to the cars audio system. It supplies, power and audio to the auxiliary section of the Radio allow you to use your phone for music GPS or anything else you need. It’s a great invention at a great price easy to install. I’ve bought two one for each of the two vehicles that benefited from them.

Trash product. Didn’t even last a month for me before breaking. It only connects now when the cord is angled perfectly. Using it for phone calls did not work, nor did functionalities like Siri - both of which are crucial while driving. Don’t waste your money.

It works just like it supposed to

I have an older car whose stereo has Bluetooth only for calls, but not for music.This cable DOES keep the phone charged while passing music through to the stereo's aux input port! It does NOT interfere with calls over the stereo's Bluetooth. Those functions work!Unfortunately, in addition to an audio output device, it also presents a "USB audio device" as an INPUT to the iPhone. Siri and voice dictation of text/iMessages does not work. (You can talk, but no text is recognized.) Changing the input setting in the "General/Sounds & Haptics" preference panel does NOT help.I bought this cable to replace an older one from another manufacturer which did NOT present this problem.If you're ONLY playing back sound, if you never talk to Siri and only type in your text messages, then this cable works great! If you need to talk to Siri or the Messages app, look elsewhere.

if you still have an old radio this is the way to go. works really well and charges the Iphone at the same time you are using it

Not very good at all anymore. I had one of these cords about a year ago that was amazing and had no issues, until I left it at work on accident and someone stole it. I purchased a new one and it was delivered with exposed wires and would cut out a lot with static or just randomly stop working time to time. After replacing/exhanging for a new one it still has a lot of static and stops time to time

Had an (apparently common) issue with my 2012 Prius Bluetooth suddenly refusing to play music from my iPhone. Phone connected and I could make and receive calls through the Prius speakers, but the music player no longer worked. Though I was giving up some features, I decided to try the Aux workaround. I bought a lightning splitter (Apple MFi Certified AUX + Charger Adapter Dongle). No luck. Then I decided to give this a shot. One end plugs into the phone, the other splits to a USB for charging and a 3.5mm stereo audio jack for music. Problem solved. Not the prettiest solution, but it does what I needed it to do and I've got my music (and audiobooks) back!

I don’t have a blue tooth enabled car . This device allows me to listen to podcasts and music through my phone whilst driving.

Works flawlessly

This is probably the 5th one i buy because the life on them is usually only about 6 months. This one lasted one month and 3 days! It made it 3 days past the return window and stopped working! Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like there’s anyone i can contact to try and get a replacement.

The banana plug that connects to the car audio system cuts in and out. the cable has an issue internally.my old cable works fine I bout this one for the USB charging for the phone.
