I do not know, but if the questioner wants to research this on the internet, feel free to do so. I just know that this product bywords very well for me and I’ve been taking the 250 mg. For years.

Is it safe to cut the tablets in half? — Michelle

These are time released. If you need 125mg, then order 125mg. If you cut them in half, they don't work the same. We started with 500mg which was too much, so we now buy 250mg and take them morning and evening. That works a lot better.I hope this helps. Ü.
