SLEEPER HIT TOOL HOLY HECK.
I was honestly pretty skeptical about buying this at first because it seemed like one of those gadgets that sounds useful but ends up collecting dust. After using it for my acrylic paints and hobby supplies though, I can confidently say this thing is an absolute game changer. It mixes paints incredibly well and does it FAST. Paints that normally take several minutes of aggressive shaking are fully mixed in just a few seconds. It especially shines with older paints that have separated badly over time. Iโve used it on Army Painter, Vallejo, Citadel, and other hobby paints and it brought all of them back to a smooth consistency with almost no effort. Thereโs also something strangely therapeutic and satisfying about using it. The touch activation works instantly, and just watching the vortex form inside the bottle while the pigment mixes perfectly is weirdly addictive. It honestly makes paint prep far less annoying and tedious. The unit itself feels solid and stable on the desk, not cheap or flimsy. Itโs compact, easy to use, and has already become one of those tools I reach for constantly without even thinking about it. I genuinely didnโt realize how much time I was wasting manually shaking paint bottles before getting this. If you work with acrylic paints, gel polish, adhesives, inks, or similar materials, this is absolutely worth buying. One of those rare hobby purchases that immediately proves its value after the first use.

Glad I waited!
I had been watching several of these types of vortex paint mixers in the $25-$39 range. Most of the reviews were spotty, but THIS particular INTLLAB model seemed to get consistently good marks so I kept my eye on it, as you do. Amazon did NOT disappoint! The price dropped by about $10 and I jumped with both feet. VERY happy with this little unit so far. First, it does what I bought it for, mixing my various Vallejo model paints with ease. 2nd, it is NOT loud, as some other units are. Honestly, if the sound this thing makes irritates anyone THAT much, Iโd say they were probably just very sensitive to noise. Itโs nowhere near as loud as almost ANY kitchen blender or powered kitchen tool Iโve ever used. 3rd, itโs made very well, comes in a nice METAL housing, with rubber feet for gripping. I havenโt had any โtravelingโ issues as it seems to be heavy enough to prevent that from happening very easily. The rated โspeedโ of this unit is somewhat lower than some other mixers but youโd never know it as youโre using it. I have used it with both Vallejo Model Color and Game Color paints ( which are generally thicker than their Model AIR and Game AIR lines) and this mixer had ZERO issues mixing them perfectly. I use steel balls in my paints to facilitate quicker mixing but, even with those additions, it was troublesome trying to get any agitation going by simply hand-shaking the bottles. Gets tiring after awhile. But this INTLLAB mixer handles them easily. No more worn out arms and wrists. YAY!!! Iโd say, even if you donโt catch this unit on sale, itโs worth paying a few extra bucks for the solid build quality, the lack of loud noise, and the money you WONโT be spending on Ben-Gay for your arms๐.

Perfect to mix separated nail polish
I was influenced from a user in a Facebook group Iโm in, who recommended to purchase this product, as it mixes nail polish well without the bubbles. I purchased it 2 months prior, but didnโt use it until today because I was in the process of moving. Now that Iโm settled into my new place, I decided to try it out. I tested it on a nail polish that has separated. It was easy to set up on my table. It took a few minutes to mix the nail polish to get it back to its original formula. I canโt believe how well and how easy it worked to restore my nail polish. I intend to do this for the rest of my bottles. I also tested it on a topcoat because it was starting to dry out, so I added nail polish thinner. I suspected the item would leave air bubbles in the clear nail polish, but it did not. Iโm very satisfied with this product. It was very inexpensive so I feel it is a good value for my money. I hope it lasts me a long time.

Is not hands free
I would have given it less stars, but I realize that it may have been me not connecting the dots. I didnโt really know what I was looking for, I just needed a way to mix tubes of liquid lipstick before I sent them to customers. I wanted something that was hands free but I didnโt see in the description anywhere that said if it was or not. I opened the box and imagine my surprise, the tube needs to be held the entire time itโs mixing. No setup required and uses a plug rather than a battery. If I ever need another I will not buy this but rather one that will mix paint hand free. It is small, but as described and so far it seems like a good value. It is versatile, it mixes hobby paint, test tubes, nail polish and liquid lip stick.

Mixes even my thickest, most stubborn inks!
I'm a tattoo apprentice, and I've learned that some inks are much thicker than others, and can be impossible to mix back together just by manually shaking it. This ivory ink has a mossy green color that separates out, and I've been unable to mix it myself, no matter how long I shake it. While it's impossible to fully mix it back to its original state (that just happens with some inks that have sat for a while), this has done more than I ever could. 10/10 would recommend. And for only $20, this is a steal. Only complaint is that it came with a bunch of small metal ball bearings that were loose all over the inside of the box, with the empty plastic container just rattling around in there. I think these are included to add to bottles to make mixing easier, similar to glass marbles, but I'm not sure. Also came with a plastic twist nozzle bottle.

Works Great to Mix Nail Polish
I use this to mix regular (non-gel) nail polish. It works very very well for that. Pros: + Works with all my nail polish bottles - regardless of shape. It works with square bottles (Lumen), flat-ish bottles (Mooncat), rectangular bottles (ILNP, Essie, Cirque), and basically every other shape. + Mixes polish even if there isn't a little ball in there/the little bottle is trapped in dried polish + I like that I can reposition the bottle to get the vortex to mix different spots (put it in upside down, on its side etc) Cons: - It does make some noise, but not really that much. - It will shake a non-sturdy surface, but what do you expect from a vortex mixer? - If you really want to do A LOT of mixing, you will get tired of having to hold the polish in the mixer - this is a design thing, though. If you want to do that, buy a different style of mixer.

Suddenly stopped working after return window expired!
I bought the INTLLAB Lab Vortex Mixer in Feb and it stopped working after one month, just after it was too late to return. I used this vortex mixer several times a week to mix nail polish and it served its purpose for that. Because of the continuous vibration transfer to your fingers and hands, it quickly becomes inconvenient when you need to hold the bottles to the agitator for long periods of time. I thought this was going to be a keeper but it ended up being a dud after a few, short weeks. It was noisy fun while it lasted, I suppose. In the end, I found another vortex mixer with a claw clip to hold the nail polish bottles during agitation. Although the new model was more expensive, it has lasted much longer and works much better for my needs.

Just what I needed
This is literally just what I needed to mix my API test tubes. It doesn't turn on until you push down the center piece, which is nice and the grips on the bottom are very strong. It doesn't make a lot of noise either.

Description / contents should be clear
Little frustrating to find out on delivery that it is a US plug , wish this had been clear in the description details and also a great shame that no test tube is supplied with the item .
