Still working after a year

I purchased this 32GB kit to upgrade and max out my computer memory as it only had 8GB and was hoping that this would also allow me have a better gaming experience on my computer and while overall computer performance has improved considerably after installing these memory modules, a dedicated graphics card is still needed to be able to play high end graphic games but since I have a mini pc which graphics card cannot be upgraded, I will have to buy a gaming PC if I want to be able to play graphic intense games on PC. With that being said, I am pleased with these memory modules and that I was able to install them myself with no issues and still be able to notice the benefits of having more memory. If you want to improve your computer's performance and not worry about how many apps or windows you have open at once, buy these but be sure they will work on your computer you get them as computers use different memory types and sizes.

As the title states this memory works well and is easy to install on a 2019 27" iMac. Follow the install instructions on the internet or from the "About this Mac" upgrade instructions. After opening the back cover and lifting the lock tabs that hold the memory just place the new ones in the empty slots. You don't have to remove the original 2 X 8GB memory cards. Leave them in and add these two. I first removed the two 4gb cards and then put the new ones in. This is not necessary. Later I added back the 2 X 4gb the computer came with. My computer works fine and seems much quicker on startup in general and Fidelity ATP. Make sure you are grounded when installing the memory so you don't get a static discharge and possibly blow out the circuit boards. These two cards give a total of 40gb of RAM when installed with the factory memory. The photo above shows from the About my Mac.

I put 32GB of Crucial RAM into a 2018 Mac Mini (bought it from Apple in Sept 2020), it works at 2667Mhz right after installation. The installation process is easy, you just need to follow the iFixit guide. There's really no need to pay Apple for RAM upgrades, or trying to live with the 8GB RAM that comes default with Mac Mini. The first boot up after RAM installation does take longer to get the Apple logo to appear, so don't worry about it. For those of you who think 32GB is too much, it is actually necessary for your daily use: on my 4K display, I opened 7 tabs of Google Maps 3D satellite view and 3 windows of Apple Maps 3D satellite view, my RAM usage is at 25GB, I haven't even launched other apps yet. I highly recommend this Crucial 32GB RAM kit to 2018 Mac mini users to increase performance and future-proof your Mac mini.

Works perfectly in my QNAP TVS-672N NAS. Now I have the maximum amount of RAM installed For the model and it’s also faster speed then the RAM that came with it. No more locking/Freezing up the NAS unit when performing too many tasks at once. Well worth the cost of the upgrade from 4GB to 32GB and increase in performance.

These RAM sticks worked perfectly in a Dell G7 7790 laptop. Packaged well, no issues whatsoever.

Installed in a Synology DS723+ NAS, worked immediately with no warnings. (If you are using one of those, just remember to seat the RAM at about a 30 degree angle, then push it flat to grab it. It's useful to watch an install video to visualize this.)

J'ai acheté le kit 2x16Go, et l'ai installé sur un Acer Nitro 5 AN517-51-52CK. Le composant est reconnus sans problème. La ram était le talon d'achille de mon pc: 8Go uniquement. En installant ce composant, la performance s'en ressent. Exemple, je n'ai plus de lag dans red dead redemption 2: avant: moyenne de 65 FPS, mais avec des minimums à 1FPS ou moins après: moyenne touours identique, mais le minimum monte à plus de 30 FPS, donc aucun lag ressentis en jouant. Cet achat va me permettre de conserver mon pc sans doute 1 ou 2 ans de plus.

I bought these as memory upgrades for a couple of Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptops that I bought my twins. They replaced the 8 GB modules the laptops came with. Installation was simple, the laptop recognised them immediately and performance is greatly improved. I selected these 2666 MT/s over the default 3200 MT/s as they were cheaper and I was advised that the difference (in terms of game framerate) would be minimal (less than 10fps) which I felt they could live with.

Ho ricevuto la ram in tempi veloci e imballaggio integro. iMac acquistato a settembre 2020, 27 pollici medio di gamma modello 2020 processore decima generazione 3,3 GHz Intel Core i5 6 core. La ram perfetta, ma ho dovuto togliere i due moduli da 4 ognuno perché abbassava la velocità a circa 2100. Comunque piazzati i due banchi da 16 al posto dei due da 4 giga di fabbrica ed ho 32 a 2667. Perfetta se non per gli otto giga di Apple, ma 32 sono già tanto per me. Perfetta!

Der Laptop aus 2016 hat eine i7-6820 HQ CPU und sollte wegen Firefox und Virtualbox auf 32 GB aufgestockt werden. 64 GB sollen angeblich möglich sein, aber ich habe es mich nicht getraut (und ist mir auch zu teuer). Die offiziellen Specs geben sowieso nur 16 GB her. Ich verwende übrigens seit Jahren unter Win10 keine Auslagerungsdatei, was sich sehr positiv auf die Performance auswirken soll und auch tut. Zuvor hatte ich ein Kingston Fury Kit, das ich leider retournieren musste, da entweder die Taktfrequenz zu hoch war (2933) bzw. die CL zu niedrig (17), oder die Riegel grundsätzlich defekt oder inkompatibel waren. Es gab jedenfalls Rechner-Einfrieren und das Dell-Tool zum Speichertesten im BIOS hat dann (zu) viele Fehler ausgeworfen (auch beim Einzeltest der Riegel in beiden Slots). Ein BIOS-Update hat da auch nichts geholfen. Mit diesem Kit von Crucial hat alles von Anfang an geklappt. Ich habe es ganz gezielt ausgewählt, da es eine geringere höchste Taktfrequenz sowie höhere CL als das Kingston-Modul hat und wie dieses von Amazon verkauft wird, d.h. es gibt keinerlei Rücksendeprobleme. Zuvor lief der Rechner mit 16 GB / 2132 = 1066 MHz / 15 CL, nun läuft er mit 32 GB / 2666 = 1333 MHz / 19 CL. Ein paar Benchmarks mit Winzip, WinRar, CPUID und Geekbench haben ganz geringfügige Geschwindigkeitseinbußen im Bereich von höchstens einem Prozent ergeben, dies war zu erwarten, da die CL (die sich ja das BIOS aus den JEDEC-Einträgen aussucht) um ca. den Faktor 1.27 höher ist, die RAM-Taktfrequenz aber nur 1.25. Dafür muss ich nun für eine virtuelle Maschine nichts schließen, und Firefox mit 1100 Tabs läuft endlos. Übrigens gibt Crucial auf ihrer Webseite Kompatibilitäts-Infos für dieses Rechnermodell (und natürlich auch andere) bei den jeweiligen Speicherriegeln an, was ich sehr löblich finde. Nachdem das Produkt erst seit einem Monat läuft, kann ich natürlich noch keine Langzeitdiagnose abgeben. Aber vorerst bin ich 5/5 zufrieden.
