Well made of sturdy aluminum. Requires cutting to fit most doors. A Dremel with a Cut-off wheel for metal works nicely. Applying calk to the back when mounting ensures a watertight seal. My preference is DAP Dynaflex, as it's more durable than other forms of calk, including 100% silicone. After years of trying this kind or that, Dynaflex is now the only kind of calk I ever buy–period. Also, when using any sort of sealant/calk/etc, ensure the surfaces are very clean. Isopropyl alcohol is preferred, as it cleans well and leaves no residue, unlike many common household cleaners. When mounting, ensure there is clearance wherever the door will swing. You might want to use a couple small strips of duck tape to hold it in place until it's permanently attached. There was a big thunderstorm here today. Not a single drop made it inside the front door. YAY!!!

Worked as expected. I wish I have drilled the holes a small bit higher, I would have saved myself some sanding of the threashold. Over all it is a sturdy drip cap and looks like it will last a long time.

I was surprised how relatively sturdy this is. Installation went fine--i made my measurements and then trimmed it to length with a hacksaw. So far it's helping keep leakage from happening during big storms and is pretty solid. Overall a good buy as is similarly priced in brick and mortars.
