Works well on yarrow
Works well on yarrow in the lawn which has been really spoiling my lawn. Hoping it stays gone. You must read the how to use info as this is very bad stuff to humans.

Effective and not harmful to grass.
Two applications since purchase. Good results to date, buttercups, daisies, tiny clover wilting daily. Second application yesterday on the broadleaf weeds missed on first application and already having effect. Recommended by a cricket and bowling green groundsman so probably what the professionals use! Good value - huge amount remaining - enough for my needs for a decade probably.

Strong but difficult to measure
If you get it right, it works wonderfully - but trying to work out the dilution ratio was just too difficult. Hence it lost a star. It worked on bindweed seedlings but anything a little larger - and the weeds are still growing.

I waited a month to do the review. I did one application and had a pretty good result especially with the clover, crab grass and creeping Charlie. However had some broad leaf weeds that giggled at the products so I retreated. Waited a week to evaluate. I think this product did a phenomenal job. I was shocked in fact at how well it worked. It did annihilate a huge majority of the problematic weeds over taking my lawn and the little grass I had, is fine. I have pure hope for my spring lawn this coming year. Absolutely recommend this product. PSA: please use as directed!

I experimented with getting rid of bitter sweet without spraying because of children playing in the yard. I filled flourist tubes with the vine killer, snipped off the ends of the bitter sweet vines and stuck each vine into a flourist tube of herbicide. The idea was to get the vine to suck the herbicide down into the roots. It is a tedious job, but had good results.

I tried this out because I had read a table that listed it as somewhat compatible with Perennial Peanut. I think this data came from a University of Florida Ag. publication. My hopes were to spray it in the general area of the weeds and hope that it (a) didn't kill my Perennial Peanut and (b) didn't kill what is left of my Bahiagrass. It turns out that 2,4 D Amine is great for weed control but NOT when you want to keep your Perennial Peanut unharmed. Within a day my weeds had begun to brown and wilt, I was so happy. Within a week, all of my peanut had turned brown and disappeared. My wife laughed at me because I was so sure of myself and my decision. I was devastated. Hank Hill would not approve. To its credit, the 2,4 D Amine got to work within 24 hours, devastating all of my weeds. My introverted neighbor actually came out of his house and crossed the street to ask me for a dose because it worked so well; this guy doesn't like talking to anybody if he doesn't have to. He even gardens at night because nobody is around and the sun isn't out. I was glad to share, hoping that the weeds would have a harder time crossing the street, back into my yard. Amazing stuff, although, I don't think it is intended for my application. It is great for making friends too I guess. The Perennial Peanut did not fare so well, nor did some of my bushes (I didn't think I had sprayed them, just near them, but apparently a little bit goes a long way). The novela length instructions boiled down to something like "A pint per acre with enough water to spread it" which wasn't too helpful since I was using this on my front lawn. The good news: my peanut has bounced back in all of the places where I had lost hope. Relief! I purchased in August of 2015, applied the poison in September, cried a week later. It is now December and all of my peanut has rebounded. The bad news: the weeds are starting to pop up as well. I blame nature. I also blame my neighbor's outdoor cats (feral?) who like to sleep in my front lawn - most likely the ones rolling around with seeds stuck in their fur. Considering one application controlled the weeds for 4 months, I am content. I still have 90% of the jug left, even after loaning some to my neighbor who has now offered for me to borrow tools "anytime." I will make a second attempt, only this time I will be more careful to steer clear of my peanut and important plants.
