Magpul Technical Glove Lightweight Work Gloves

These are very nice thin gloves. You are able to maintain a lot of your dexterity with these. Remember that these are not stick-proof or cut-proof. I use these while searching bags and people but these won’t compete against a glove like HexArmor if you’re looking for cut/needle resistance. These are a great basic patrol glove, with excellent hand/finger dexterity if needed. They keep the wind from cutting through you, give you decent grip if you’re going hands on, and still have enough dexterity to allow you to use whatever you have on your duty belt.

Love these gloves. Durable, soft, pliable. What more can you ask for? Breathable in South florida heat. Even after a full day running with kit on. Will buy again

I like the light duty aspect of these gloves, great for hot climates. The cuff is tight to the wrist. The fingers allow for high dexterity actions. The tight cuff made getting these on a slight struggle, definitely not a quick action, but provides a solid fit. Build quality is as expected from a Magpul branded item. No weak seams or loose/flying threads. I ordered an XL as my hand measured 9-5/8" circumference, I'm 5'-10" and about 210lb. I found the length of the fingers to be a tad on the short side for me. The finger seams applied pressure right under the tips of my fingernails, and after only 5mins of wear they became uncomfortable. The material between my fingers almost touched the webbing between my fingers, but there was about an 1/8" gap. This wasn't too much of a concern as I think the material would stretch out over time. I might try soaking the gloves in water and wearing them until they dry to if if that relieves the fingertip pressure I am experiencing, or I might just try to order a 2XL set and see how that goes.

This is an all around great comfortable glove that is very tight form fitting if you ordered it right. It's a bit hard getting your hand in there i you have pudgy fingers and big hands, but ordered for your size. But that is part of what makes them fit so well. I had pigskins before this, these are better for 2 reasons. I feel the material is just a bit better. I don't like the pig leather logo that covers half of the top of your hand. The magpul logo is the size of a quarter and looks nice. I use these for driving but still being able to answer my phone. Phone touch screen works better than pigskins. I can drag icons around and answer with ease. I still can't text using these. But I have fat fingers. You might do better. Not a heavy duty glove. If I were a cop, I'd wear these while on duty. I can see this being able to trigger play, use AR safety controls and feel what you are doing more than most gloves. Better than pigskins. 5/5 recommend

Gloves work great on duty. Good fitment. Quality has been great. Tight fit so they make good search gloves.

I have several pairs of these. They work great - aren’t expensive and give me the level of dexterity you can’t get from thicker gloves. I use them for target shooting, doing stuff around the house and keep a pair on me all the times. I’ll wear the pairs I have down and buy some more when they are needed. I’ve had the first pair for about a year now and aside from a little fray on the wrist portion and a small hole in the thumb webbing they have held up great. I’m sure that wear is from me doing activities I shouldn’t with them. I’ve even used them to protect my hands while kayaking and working in the backyard. 10/10 would buy and recommend again. Oh, and the branding held up perfectly as well. You can even hand wash them when ever you need.

I shoot USSL (mostly pistol matches, some 2-gun), and wanted gloves primarily to act as a layer between my AR and my hand on hot or cold days. They easily keep my hands from getting burned or frozen by the bare metal on my AR in bad weather, and are also quite a bit better than no gloves at all for keeping my hands warm in cold ambient air temperatures or from wind chill... as long as they don't get wet. Don't get them wet, or they do more harm than good on a cold day. These gloves fit my slightly above average sized hands really well. They're very comfortable, and I don't feel like I've given up any mobility compared to no gloves. They're also thin enough that I still have really good contact with my grip and trigger on both guns. Shooting with them on is not noticeably different for me than shooting with bare hands. TBH I'm not super impressed with the touch screen sensitivity. It wasn't really a selling point for me and I don't use my phone a whole lot while I'm shooting, so no big deal, but if you want something that works really well with touch screens, these gloves might not be the right ones for you. Hopefully they hold up. They're so thin that I worry they will fall apart quickly, but we're a few matches in so far and no problems. I'll come back and amend this review if I feel like they die before I've extracted $25 worth of value from them. All in all, really happy for the price.

Summary: These gloves have more pro's than any con's I can list here. The only issue keeping me from giving this a perfect score would be the thumbs. For my hands, the thumb-tips had the least desired fitment out of the entire glove. Reference: Size small, coyote. Best compared to wearing nomex flight gloves in size 8, with significantly better dexterity. The Good: The color/overall appearance is outstanding. Being a lightweight glove for the main purpose of dexterity, I would caution potential buyers to understand this is meant for LIGHT USE, so don't expect to negotiate natural hazards like brush or rocks without risk of rips or tearing. Be mindful of any abrasive work and gentle washes to keep the seams from busting. With that said, construction and material are excellent. The microfiber on the backside of the thumb is the best I've yet to see on a glove. The touchpads on the thumb, index and middle finger respond well to touchscreens, even with screen protectors I have installed on my devices (may need to apply more pressure at times.) With that same compliment of the touch pads, I'll start "The Bad" with the same. The Bad: The touch-material on the thumb didn't do it for me. Rather than being a flat, generous surface area like the index and middle finger, the thumb has significantly less touch-material and sewn in a bowed pattern. The intent behind my purchase was to rely mostly on the thumbs for any kind of touchscreen work - unfortunately with this fact, I found it very cumbersome to input exactly what I was trying to access on screen. Keep in mind, this was only experienced with the thumbs, otherwise I had no issues with screen input using the index and middle finger. The other issue with the thumbs still relates to the way the touch-material is sewn into the glove. The gloves fit like second skin, even without the need for hook and loop/strap closure - that is, everywhere except the thumb. Because of how the touch-material is sewn into the thumb. It creates a space in-between the tip of the glove and my actual thumb. Despite creating issues with fine mechanical work outside of touchscreen use, the only real issue is the main reason as to why these were purchased in the first place (using a touch screen in the field). Conclusion: The look, feel and development of these gloves are great - the best pair of light duty gloves I've owned, so far. This would be a perfect score aside from the issues noted with my thumbs for the sake of touchscreen use. I've kept the gloves with the thumb tips cut off - not ideal, but nonetheless will serve until their inevitable end after extensive use. I will not purchase again, ONLY because of the fitment issue I experienced with the thumbs, otherwise I would absolutely recommend these gloves.

Kinda misleading. Thought this was two pairs of gloves.

Probably the best gloves for the money. however both pairs I have are completely different in sizing despite both being labeled Medium. QC has obviously missed quite a few going out the door which is a little disappointing considering Magpul make good quality gear.
