good build quality. Big display. Have laa the functions a hobbyist needs , accurate readings . But company refuses to register the product for warranty.

The overall build quality is just awesome.. Accuracy for capacitor is amazing.. Measuring TEMPERATURE with decent accuracy. for Measuring voltage and current it is the best meter i have used.. All the things are performing very well..*** CONS****--- The ncv function works but does not match with the statement in datasheet... Over all it is a great product for bigginer and as well as for the hobbyist. I would definitely recommend this product.

Good and accurate Multimeter but Battery is 1.5x4 AAA it should be 9volt single battery for user friendly use....

I found Metravi metrasafe 10 is a Copy Of UNI T UT89X. But That meter is ₹4.5k and I got Metravi for ₹2.6k. Quality is good of UNI T And got it for less prize

It seems that there is design defect in this instrument. the instrument is greatly influenced by flying wires and Human body near to the NCV sensor. It gives incorrect reading in DC Battery Voltage and DC Battery Current reading in commonly available 12V DC battery CFL adapter kit used in Emergency light and Solar Light using Royer/Baxandall oscillator. Even any measurement, near to the above kit , also gives incorrect reading. While other DMM like Maxtech DT603 and low cost DMM available in the market DT 830D gives correct result. It seems that the NCV sensor gets activated all the time even when it is not selected and DC Voltage and DC Current mode is selected. Service center are unable to admit the fault due to their limitation in involvement in product development R&D and proper technical know how. Other users are requested to verify in the similar environment and post comment for the sake of other users and customers intending to purchase the same model number. Service center people are not much more helpful. They seems to have no technical knowledge. They are also charging for within warrenty. Service center says that the instrument is not either meant for or manual says for pulsed DC measurement . But it here to mention that in every day life in our working table we 90% of the time measure pulsed DC in the circuit. that means this instrument is not meant for those in repairing industry. However Maxtech DT603 and other chip DMM available at market at Rs.200 does not give such type error and gives correct reading.
