Question 1

Is this mat awkwardly small for a Peloton bike? Does it fit it completely? Or would you recommend going up to the slightly larger one? (30x60)

I looked up your bike (Peloton--nice looking bike!) and based on the dimensions of your footprint, you should go with the 30x60 mat.  The 24x46 is going to barely have your bike on the mat.  On my bike (Schwinn 170), I have 1.5" of room on each side and 2.5" front and back.  The bike fits very nicely on the mat and is stable.  As your length says the bike is 46.9" you should get the slightly larger mat as you don't want the bike sitting right on the edge of the mat.  Hope that helps.

is it really heavy duty not one of those  cheap thin mats that isn't worth the money?

It is thin compared to the mat in the bed of my pickup truck but this mat seems to support my Spinner bike and 240lbs just fine. Using it to protect my hardwood floors

could this mat be used outdoors on a deck?  The stationary bike will be covered when not in use.

Yes, I see no reason why the Heavy Duty Mat could not be used outdoors.  I use it indoors myself; however, it's a very sturdy mat and see no reason why it wouldn't stand up to outdoor weather conditions.   You'd probably be best to check with the company for sure on how it withstands outdoor weather.   Also, if your stationary bike has wheels, you could probably easily roll the bike off the mat and keep the mat indoors for really foul weather (just to be safe).

I think it depends on how much weights you are talking about.  I used it under an exercise bike and it works well.  It is thick enough.  So if you are talking about 15 lbs weight, it should work.  But if you are talking about 50 lbs weight and you are going to drop it from 3 feet, it probably won't provide enough protection for your floor.
