Flying great!
Note that these require you to buy and solder the bullet and battery connectors to the ESC and motor. Add that to the cost of this well-priced combination. This combination mounted, set up, and configured quickly and easily. They are flying my model quite well with 9" prop. The prop spinner adapter is included, which is very useful.

Strong performance in an affordable package
The price is just right for this combo. I use 8x6 and 8x4.5MR on this setup, after I have set/reset the timing to 15° (or 18°). Fantastic vertical performance. I actually ordered another 10 of them for our club combat planes.

I've bought 2 of these sets on 2 different occasions and they are great, especially with the inclusion of the prop saver. Shipping was 2-3 weeks so you have to just buy it and forget about it for a while. Order it in anticipation of needing it next month. I use it with the Cheerwing 8x6 black propellers and it makes my 2c foamboard planes fly fast and high. Plenty of power for flips and tricks.

Very high performance from this motor. More powerful than anticipated for this size. Amazing performance from the medals I have fitted with this motor.

Soldering required. Check the mount orientation.
Look carefully at the pictures. This does not come with the battery connectors or motor connectors on the ESC although this is not clear from the description. Soldering required. Note that the mounting hole pattern is not square. If it doesn't fit, rotate the mount 90 degrees. Good motor for the price.

Nicely made motor & controller at a very attractive price. Badly let down by lack of instructions. Instructions not really needed for motor, but programming for controller definitely needed as all controllers not the same and procedure varies between makers and types.
