After reading the reviews on how poor the assembly instructions are, the issue is that the photos in the manual are black and white.Make sure you have all the parts, I was missing a stopper (part 15). You'll find it pretty easy to lay out all your parts like photograph 1 and 2.The fixings are attached to each other making them easy to use during assembly.As for "the workout", this physio machine is great! I have early onset arthritis and I've been told to do aqua aerobics, the only issue with this is that I'm not retired and work 9-5 so I can't join OAPs at 10am.This incredible machine is good value for money and really does work all the ligaments and muscle groups I've been advised by my sports therapist.100% worth it!

I bought this machine recently instead of the Gym-Form Ab Booster and the Total Crunch machine and after just doing a small workout on it the Physio-Room Upright Trainer for the very first time I've got to say that it certainly does appear to be a much better workout machine than the other two because it feels and looks a lot more stronger, handles well, is sturdier, more solid and is built and designed in a better wat too. It's still too early to say whether this machine is the best upright trainer on the market but you can only make that final decision after a few months of solid use.I have to say that I was very angry, disappointed, let down and really upset with the awkward, misleading, complicated and badly written and put together instruction manual which was not very helpful to follow and all the step by step instructions were not put together in the right way. I had to guess and use my own practical skills, common sense and technical know how to finally assemble and complete this workout machine from the beginning to the end which was like a marathon experience for me. I know a lot of people who have bought this product had experienced the same difficulties and problems too and now I realise myself what they were going through. BETTER AND CLEARER INSTRUCTIONS ARE NEEDED FOR THIS PRODUCT AND OTHER EXERCISE MACHINES FROM THIS MANUFACTURER IN THE FUTURE PLEASE!!!!Another thing that didn't work on this machine was the small battery operated computer that keeps a track of your repetitions, calories burnt and your used time. I tried to put a battery in it and it still didn't work unfortunately which was a real let down and a huge disappointment for me as I thought it would perfectly. I think its a faulty appliance and was only sold with the machine to make it look more appealing and fanciable to any interested buyer. Shame on you Physio-Room staff!!!!!!!!!!

The product is good and quality appears to be decent.The instructions for assembly are very poor, worse than an IKEA wardrobe instruction. Some people will struggle to follow it.
