The precise 6 x 8 inch size qualifies as LETTER size and rates per Postal Regulations (maximum size permitted is 11 1/2 by 6 1/8 inches). Total mailing thickness must not exceed 1/4 inch and maximum weight must not exceed 3.5 Ounces. If these limits are exceeded, then LETTER rates no longer apply and it will be more expensive to mail. A single Mailer weighs 1.4 ounces, and TEN 5 x 7 inch photos of 72 lb paper stock weigh 2 ounces, therefore the total mailing weight for TEN photos will be 3.4 ounces (if no other items such as a note is included) and the total thickness will be under 1/4 inch. The quality is excellent. Very stiff to protect photos and white both inside and outside.

This Envelopes are high quality and Super sturdy. These are the sturdiest envelopes I have ever purchased. I wish I can find them in 8x10 as well. They are not easily bendable. If I can find them in 8x10 and 11x14 I would buy them. My only wish is finding the other sizes I need and that they may come in a kraft color other than that these are perfect and I will keep buying them as I run out. I purchased these for my 5x7 cards and they fit very snug in there, no room for moving around and getting damaged. These are great. I hope you found my review helpful.

Some complaints in the reviews about how these are flimsy or not that thick. I don't know what they're talking about! I took a gamble and bought them and am glad I did. They were perfectly sturdy and fine and the adhesive strip is nice and super-sticky. I'd definitely buy more of these again when I need them. I'm not sure what the people who complained about the thickness/sturdiness are looking for. Seems like they need something made of metal! The only way these would bend is if you deliberately tried to bend them in half.

I am really impressed with the quality of these mailers. They really are very rigid. Perfect for me to send 'thank you' prints to my photography clients. I don't feel worried about photos being damaged in these mailers. They are such a great price too. I will be ordering more -hopefully in other sizes as well.

I'm an illustrator that runs an online store for prints/stickers. I use these for my print orders, and I haven't had a single package turn out damaged. The envelopes are very sturdy; enough so that backing board is unneeded, so it definitely saved me some money there. If you're going to be using these to ship photos or anything of the like, I definitely recommend them. I'm on my second order, and I don't plan on buying from anywhere else!

Size is a little smaller than expected, does not fit 6"x8" mylar bags, had to fold them down to fit the width. The outer measurement is exactly 6". However, this does make it the cheaper mailing rate as it fits within the 6 1/8th" allowance. So, this is sized for 5"x7" contents. I am customizing the blank surface for my branding and acrylic paint works nicely on them. I would prefer the craft paper/cardboard look, but the white does show colors on it vibrantly. My packaging looks unique and distinctive. I did stencil on top, and had a little difficulting with the bottom layer of paint not adhering but it worked well with my designs. The mailer is nice and sturdy. I am confident my products will be shipped safely. The adhesive feels secure as well. My items were a tight fit, but worked.

I sell stickers on Ebay and need them to be truly rigid so that I don't have to worry about bending nor do I have to put extra protection. These are super thick. Put it this way, it is stiff enough to hold a standard coffee cup on it without bending. Post office would qualify this as a package because cannot bend more than 30%. Yes these are a little more expensive at .48 cent each but they are quality. Oh and I did the math... buying the 5 pack runs you about $.64 each so stick with the singles or 4 pack. I imagine it is because they have to incorporate the ship price I also got these within 2 days. I am overall very please with this purchase!

These envelopes are great and perfect what I needed them for. I’m mailing out my wedding invitations which have some embellishments on them and wanted something a bit sturdier than a regular envelope to protect them from getting damaged in the mail. These are true to 6”x8” size and made out of a thick cardstock, there’s no inside padding. My invites are 5.5”x7.5” with a little bit of thickness to them (about the thickness of 10-15 photos) and they fit snuggly in these envelopes. I wouldn’t really recommend anything much bigger than this otherwise it may be a too tight a fit. The total weight was around 3.10 ounces in which my invite was probably half of that. I thought I would be able to use a couple 2-ounce stamps (at $.71 each) on these but good thing I double checked with the post office first. Postage for domestic first-class mail came out to be $3.50 each. The postal worker assisting me advised that the envelope was considered a “special mailer” since it didn’t bend so the cost was a bit more than regular mail. On the upside, it did come with tracking so at least we’ll know for sure they got delivered!

Needed sturdy and rigid envelopes and these are exactly that. It is difficult to find a small size so I am glad to have found these dimensions. Came within 2 days of placing the order. Will definitely purchase again when needed, thank you!

I've used this mailers for years now, especially at Christmas, and they are always perfect. They are so sturdy, the adhesive sticks really well, the price is really great (especially compared to these mailers you can get at stores like Staples) and they come really quickly. I've probably ordered at least 25 packs of these in the past and they've always been perfect. Highly recommend!

I was hesitant to buy these because of mixed reviews, but thanks to the return policy I took a chance and I'm so glad I did! WOW! These are SUPER sturdy. They are solid and well made. They'll be perfect for mailing out handmade cards from my Etsy Shop. As a new shop quality control is important to me and having my item arrive safely is more important than the purchase itself. I have such peace of mind sending my product in these!

These are very high quality white cardboard envelopes. They keep things firm and protected. They deal well. When more than 1/2 “ of product was inserted, the fold did tear a bit when sealing. Recommend for photos but almost too stiff for additional content.
