Is this tape, 2 inches wide? i mean, not one word from the seller about the width (or length) as far as i can tell. i've looked and looked. too bad

It says on my package that the grip tape is 2" W X10' L / 1 Roll.

can this be used underneath a vinyl mat to prevent it from slipping around?

The Gription Pad is the perfect product for under a vinyl mat. It does not use adhesive but is grippy on both sides. It's great for cushions, cutting boards, drawers, cabinets and would definitely work under a vinyl mat.

How does the grip side feel on the skin? Are the grips so heavy duty that it would feel uncomfortable touching the skin?

The grip side is smooth and does not irritate the skin nor does it feel uncomfortable at all. The key thing is that it does not tend to skid and whatever is applied to stays put!

How many millimeters thick is this tape?

I’m not sure. It’s a little thicker than duct tap but not much more
