Spigen Tough Armor [Extreme Protection Tech] Designed for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G Case (2020) - Black

I bought this and the spigen liquid case (more flexible case) Out of the package and looking at both...this one here is easily looking like the better protection. Second I put this case on I was like ooOOOOoOOOO very nice!. First thing I noticed was the back of my note 20 ultra was now completely flush and even, camera is even with the back and the back of the phone is all the same height now. For anyone that uses your "home" "back" "recal" buttons as "slide up" instead of visible buttons, this case allows for that fine. Better then my last case if anything. One feature I think I'll end up really enjoying, is the power button and volume buttons. I can FINALLY fell the difference between the buttons. If your like me, you are constantly hitting your power button when trying to lower the volume....NOT ANYMORE! :) there is no way you can mistake the power button, and the volume buttons are slightly farther out then the power button, power is almost "recessed". Very nice. One thing I see that I'm not liking too much is how smooth the back of the case is. I have no problems gripping the phone and it doesn't slide out of my hand or anything like that, it's very easy to hold and grips to your natural skin great. My problem is very unique and specific case. In a moving vehicle (not the driver) and the only place to put my phone is on my thigh/knee. First the uktra note 20 is ginormous and is like putting a tablet on your leg. But since the back of this phone is slippery, expect when being held by your hand, this thing falls right to the ground. Does not grip my jeans at all. Also if you wear gloves, this thing would probably be like grabbing a block of ice and trying to hold that, would be all over the place. I was a little worried about the button cutouts. They looked "different" then what I previously had and looked kind of wierd if I'm honest. I was afraid it was a noticeable cutout that would be annoying, but it looks completely normal and looks/feels fine. So safe there. Pros : camera flush (even with protector) Feels sturdy and snug Looks nice Power and volume buttons++++ Ease of "swipe up" from button bar. Cons: slightly slippery Could do without the cheap kickstand. It's not in the way and I guess a cheap one is better then not having one. Doesn't help me so far, as you get pretty used to propping up a tablet sized phone lol. Overall, super happy with this purchase. And will be giving this case a try for a while. Will update if any problems arise.

Came around to buy this case for a second time and figured I would leave a review. I used this case pretty much exclusively the last year since getting my Galaxy N 20 Ultra. Did a fantastic job protecting it and it does cover the camera bump and has some padding on the rear so the phone stays level when laid flat. Kick stand is incredible useful as well. It isn't much and it doesn't need to be. Only reason I am ordering this case again is for a reasonable small crack and aesthetics. You can of course get unlucky and drop something directly on the phone and crack the screen as I ended up doing but it is what it is. As for the flat back drop this is something I have seen in the note phones since the note 5. Case or not dropping the phone flat on its back from hand height on a hard surface cracks the inner screen and pretty much bricks the phone. No case will stop that from happening. It is relatively hard to do I mean how often do you not drop it at some sort of angle. On that note I dropped my phone many times over the last year and it always came out unscaved. So if you're iffy looking at reviews I would say go for it. It is a excellent case and that's why I am back ordering up for round 2.

4.5 Stars from me. I deduct 1/2 star because the edges on this case are sharper than I like. I'm used to a little more rounding on the edges on my previous cases. But that being said, this case is everything I'm looking for. First, and most important - it makes the camera bulge nonexistent. The back side of the case in its entirety is slightly deeper than the camera module, so it protects the camera from breaking when you set the phone down. Second, wireless charging works flawlessly for me, both on a traditional pad and in my car mount/charger. This was a difficulty for me prior to having a case, since the camera bulge made the phone not lay flat on the charger, and the glass was smooth enough that it would fall off the charger pad. Third, the size of the case makes it much more comfortable to hold the phone, and there is just enough "grippiness" built in. Using this case also prevents accidental touches on the rounded screen edges. Fourth, cutouts and buttons all seem well placed. The stylus is easy to get to, and the power and volume buttons are easily distinguished by the serrated texture over the power button, so it feels very intuitive. The kickstand is a bonus feature to me, as I didn't really care if I had one or not. It seems to do the job well enough, though I question how long it will last as it is just a small plastic arm.

Pros: Case is durable and of a high quality design. Perfect mix of low profile and durability. Snaps right onto the phone with no resistance. Button presses feel great. Cutouts on the bottom line up perfectly with ports and stylus. Edges are tight. Con: The kickstand feels cheap. For how small it is, it should've been made out of aluminum. Instead, it's a thin, albeit surprisingly sturdy, plastic or ABS. It is very loose after unlocking, so you'll want to avoid accidentally bumping the phone from the side, otherwise it'll likely fall over. Too much top pressure when in use is almost certain to snap it off.

So Far this case has been really nice. I haven't dropped my phone yet so I cant review the durability yet but it goes on very easily. It is easy to grip but can be a little slippery if you don't have a good enough grip on it. Black is black so its a nice solid color. I added my own screen protector so im not sure how this will protect the screen other than it not falling directly on the screen. its very light weight so it doesn't add much to the phone.

This is my goto brand and phone case whenever I upgrade to a new phone. Very sturdy, lightweight and fits well on the phone and in your hand(s). Well designed with the cutouts and no problems ever when trying access the S pen. Areas for the power and volume buttons are precise. My favorite feature of course is the kickstand, very sturdy while using it and locks completely back into place when you're not using it. Some people complain about how loose and/or they they think the kickstand is filmsy, I never had one break on me yet and it does what it suppose to do every single time. It's the way Spigen designed them and it works flawlessly. The kickstand isn't bulky like some other cases. The case sits completely flat on surfaces with no rocking and no issues with wireless charging. Even has raised bezels on the front and back to help protect your screen and camera respectfully. Designed with shock and drop absorbent corners and shell. Awesome case can't go wrong with it. As for using this case with a screen protector, I honestly can't answer because I don't have one on this phone like my past phones. Screen protectors usually melds well with all my Spigen cases in the past and don't see why this one wouldn't. Hope this helps.

I've been using Spigen since my LG G2, and my Galaxy S9+ lasted 2 years in its spigen case until it fell face down on textured flooring, with no screen protector. The phone is still fine other than a crack in the corner of the screen, but it was a good reason to upgrade to the note 20 ultra. This case makes the phone so much easier to hold in my gorilla hands, and I feel so much more at ease knowing this case will protect falls. I dropped my s9+ DOZENS of times and everytime was fine, until I got cocky and even then, it wasn't the cases fault. This case is practically the exact same, maybe with even more shock protection on the inside. Now, there is a bit of a downside. Film screen protectors will bubble in this case because it has a lip to protect the screen. The way I got around this is to cut a small section of the screen protectors corners so the case doesn't cause bubbling, but I don't think this will be a problem with tempered glass. Also, the kickstand is flimsy, but works well and I use it daily. All in all, don't get an otterbox, they're overpriced and make your phone look disgusting. I tried spigen years ago and I still use them to this day. Get this case and your phone will thank you every time you drop it, which WILL happen inevitably.

This case is very durable. It has a couple of features including volum buttons (touch sensitivity too) and leg for tripod placement. I've had this since October 19,2020. It's done a great job protecting the phone! So it's good for it's primary purpose. However, the leg that just out for tripod placement becomes flimsy and loose after several months. Luckily you can snap it in place when you need to store it, otherwise it would just flap around, so the durability doesn't match the casing. Although it has an awesome feature for the touch sensitive volume control, if you have the phone positioned with the volume button in the top left corner with your hand propping the phone to be directly facing you, your fingers will auto change the volume and continue to be interrupted. So in this case, it was too sensitive, but a nice gesture if you flip your phone around so that your buttons are at the bottom right corner. ( It really depends on how you position the phone in Your hand.) I give it 4 stars because it does it's primary job and the added features don't help. I would probably rate it 3.75 than a 4.

2nd one. First one I got years ago and it lasted fine. The rubber ? Backing broke where the hinge to the stand broke a little and the piece would fallout, but I think that was from me pressuring it backwards too often, a little too hard. I then went for a Spigen wallet sized standie grip that I put on top of the back/little kick stand and it was great. The actual case is marvelous, not too heavy and provides great protection otherwise. I got another since I'm not getting rid of my phone, and mother case feels as good as this one does in my hand.

J ai acheté 3 fois cette coque et systematiquement la languette ne tient pas et glisse toute seule ie le portable tombe. De plus elle est située trop sur le coté qui fait que le potable est beaucoup trop verticale. coque tpu l'air solide. Déçu de Spigen A croire que les createurs n ont meme pas essayé leur produit..
