Good tracker but some improvements are needed
So I've had the tracker about a week so this is my take on it so far... I have gotten multiple different trackers (petcube and tractive are the ones I've received) to compare since I need multiple due to having 4 dogs. Sorry it's a little lengthy but wanted to give full details since I know I can't be the only one having this dilemma...maybe for 4 dogs though. I charged it to 100% the first day I got it and it is only down to 95%. The battery life is great but I will say it's on power saver mode due to being home. I can't speak to being waterproof since it hasn't rained and the puppy it's on doesn't like swimming. It seems like it would be fine and has been durable with 2 puppies playing and tugging on collars. The accuracy when you're at home is solid but it has jumped around within a couple hundred feet when he hasn't left the yard. Also I have had an issue of it jumping to other streets when the puppy hasn't left the house besides going to the yard so I'm not sure what the issue is there. It has been accurate when I have taken the dogs into town and all the places we went to were accurate on the map which is a huge plus!! I haven't had a chance to test it out hiking yet but will update it once I do. The light and sound have been superior to the other trackers I've purchased! My puppy hasn't shown any discomfort while wearing it and it fits very snuggly on his collar while still looking good. Now I will say I don't know if I'd get it for my springer spaniel that barrels through the woods but for my younger puppy that just runs, plays and hikes it's perfect! Also for comparison he's a 35lb 5 month old goldendoodle and the size of the tracker is comparable to a training (beep vibrate) collar. I can't speak to taking it out of service at this time but once I take him on a hike I'll update it. During those hikes, we're constantly out of service so I'd like to see how accurate the GPS is. I do like the fitness tracking but I believe it may track just anytime he's awake or showing any energetic movement. I'm getting a fit bark to compare mileage and activity since I'm really trying to watch things for my 5yr old springer. I attached photos of one of the days that I definitely don't believe is accurate especially knowing what we did. A subscription is necessary and for the time being I just wanted to test things so I got the basic. Things shouldn't change too much going to premium but I'll update that at a later time. Overall I think it's definitely worth it for the money vs some of the others that are very pricey. If you don't need exact accuracy for GPS and you're not strictly trying to track your dogs wellness/activity then this is perfect. I know this puppy won't run away and I'm training him very well but in the off chance he gets distracted or runs a little ways off then I'm confident this tracker will provide those details with some degree of accuracy if I have service. Without service, I'm uncertain at this point in time. I'll update later once I know more.

Excellent product
I’m submitting an update to this review. I recently moved and my pet cubes were in storage. I pay for the monitoring plan for one of them but not the other. When I unpacked, I only found the one without the plan. I had forgotten which camera had it and which did not. I reached out to customer service to ask if the plan was connected to a WiFi or ip address or what (I don’t know how those things work). They were very responsive and, long story short, transferred the plan to the cube (I haven’t found the other one yet) and gave me a credit for the four months I hadn’t used the cube - they offered this. I did not in any way prompt or ask for a refund they just let me know about it. That is some awesome customer service! Everything was seamless. I loved the product before but now I am definitely purchasing more cubes for other rooms and signing up for the monitoring plan for all of them. I have a lot of respect for a company that goes above and beyond for a customer! This Petcube has exceeding my expectations! I cannot express how happy I am with this purchase! It is easy to set up, easy to use, and has been working exactly as expected. The pic is with night vision. The video quality is excellent and it auto records when it detects movement. The sound quality is excellent. I highly recommend this for anyone that wants to keep an eye on their pet.

Good product but it didn't serve my needs :(
*4.5/5 stars- I was contacted by the company and asked to update my review. I will update it because they did work with me, but I want to be fair to the consumers. I returned it because it wasn't what I was looking for. That is not the fault of the product, I was not aware of how the product works. I need a home surveillance system and will set one up in my home, including the area where my cats roam. I did find it difficult to remove my payment method. I signed up for a subscription because I thought I would keep the product and I found it difficult to remove my payment info from the app. I was able to cancel my subscription but couldn't remove my card info because it's one of those where you have to have one form of payment on file before removing another one. I contacted the company and they removed my payment info AND refunded me my subscription fee. I was very happy for that but removing your financials should be easier than it was. ** It's a great product but it's not for me. The night vision is surprisingly good. The video quality is good, too. I have the trial subscription and didn't use it much since I quickly figured out that I didn't want to keep it. So, I can't comment as to the cloud compatibility. Pet cube is not a surveillance system. I like the concept and what Pet Cube can provide but it doesn't work for me. It is not what i thought it would be. I should've read more reviews or asked questions. No fault on the product, tho. Set-up was a tiny bit of a hassle. There is QR that has to be read by your phone and I don't know if it was my phone or the code but it took a long time to read it. Maybe the firmware was also updating during that time and i didn't know it. Wi-fi connection was fairly easy, too. I have 3 cats and one of them is pooping right beside the litter box instead of inside it. I don't know which one is doing it or why it's doing it. Is it due to bullying, is the cat physically not able to jump in the box? Is the cat just being a turd?? I don't know. The litter can be freshly changed and as soon as I turn my back it still happens. Whichever cat is doing it is definitely a ninja pooper. I got the cameras hoping that i could go back through the video timeline and find the point when the load is dropped and then rewind to see who has the stealthy sphincter and to see what else is happening in the moment besides the pooping. Is another cat hogging the loo, etc.? The cameras alert as to motion and i see one cat come around and then sniff at the floor, then another cat comes in to see what the sniffing is about. Since the cameras only record short snippets of video and then stop, it remains a mystery. The video snippet stops before any action happens. But the next video snippet shows the turd in the floor and the cats on the other side of the room as if nothing happened. I still don't know who is doing the dirty deed and since they are not likely to fess up or snitch, I'll never know unless i have some kind of continuous surveillance video. But i do know that i am returning the cameras and getting an actual home surveillance system, like Nest, etc. I think it will work better for what I need. I'm tired of cleaning up after these little turds plus, I can have peace of mind knowing that I can check my home throughout for signs of intruders.

Great For Catching Wayward Pets!
I took a chance after reading the reviews and am happy with it. I can get all 90° of my kitchen from the corner. I like that you can set it to a pet’s sound for notifications (mine goes “woof-woof” and it’s cute). It does catch people too (bummer!) and loud enough noises but it tells you in the notification if it’s motion or sound which is awesome! I sleep late so my husband unplugs or hides it so it won’t detect him going in and out of the kitchen and the notifications won’t wake me up but then forgets to put it back or plug it back in when he leaves for work. It will still send notifications but not make any alarm if your phone is set to Do Not Disturb mode which is also a nice feature. The picture is pretty clear for facing two windows. I dropped it about a foot onto its front lens and it didn’t crack, break, glitch, error or anything. It still works perfectly. I like the magnetic base feature and the cool metal ring so you can mount it under cabinets or on a wall. The swivel up and down is nice but I have to manually adjust the left to right. It didn’t seem to offer being able to move the camera view in the app. One day, it would have been nice to shift the view down via the app because it got bumped and I wasn’t home to adjust it and didn’t know it until there was motion detected. When I get in my car, which has hands free and I try to connect to the camera, it dials through my phone unless I shut off the WiFi. I don’t get that. It also won’t stay connected to the camera for more than 2 minutes if it goes through the vehicle. It also takes longer to connect to the camera, even sitting in my driveway. I haven’t had any weird squealing sounds when I connect like a few others have. I do wish that, when you expand the camera view on the phone/app, it wouldn’t automatically enable the *microphone*. I want to catch my dog sniffing the counters and wanted to see if she’d jump up to get something off of them but if there is any noise around me and I can’t shut the mic off fast enough, she hears it and leaves the kitchen before I can catch her in the act. The overall camera and access is free, but you have to pay if you want to access recorded video from it. It’s about $5/mo which isn’t bad at all - it could come in handy if you miss notifications or can’t access the camera quick enough. I did buy another brand but I am not happy with it. It only records in 1 minute increments, CONSTANTLY notifies you of ANY movement, has a confusing app that took me forever to figure out and annoyed me so much, so unplugged it and gave up. I would buy more of this PetCam instead. My two issues are these: It says you can share the app/camera but I can’t figure out how (the YouTube video is outdated, my app didn’t have the links or steps they showed) and I would like a way to OPT to be able to have the microphone be able to be turned off before full camera access if the consumer prefers it. Also, the USB to wall jack sticks out like 2” from the wall and where we have it plugged in was annoying so I purchased a flat one instead. Otherwise, so far, very happy with it. Had it about a month now.

Help!!! my dog has ran off to sniff the world again. PetCube GPS Tracker
Help my dog has ran off to sniff the world again!!!! I needed a way to track my dog. He is a retired bomb dog and loves to sniff out the whole world. I also have people who leave the gate open from time to time. This has created a very problematic issue. I have tried “tile” and air tag” both proved to be worthless. When I found the Petcube website I thought “I might have just solved my problem”. 1. Its packaged very smartly. 2. Instructions are super simple, took around 2 minutes tops to set it up. I had zero hiccups during setup. My 83-year-old grandmother could set it up. 3. I like no batteries to change, and its stays charged for about 30 days. 4. The rubber holder glows in the dark. 5. I can turn on sound or the light in the unit to find him. 6. The application that goes with works well with mapping program and I can spot his position very easily on my phone. 7. And lastly it was the right price, the mapping service is priced fair as well. I have solved my problem so far!! Postscript: My lovely wife accidentally let the dog run off a couple days ago and the PetCube worked great. I was able to track him per gps signal, to the exact spot. Not only did it show the address of the house where he was sniffing it showed he was in the back yard. I absolutely love it and would say buy it now before they realize they are not charging enough.

Easy set up and the price, and subscription are UnBeatable
So far so good. Pros -The price is way better than tractive. If you have multiple dogs even better, it's only one fee for as many animals as you have. Great deal and appreciated -easy setup, took about an hr and a half to charge them. -The light is bright and the sound it makes is way louder than tractive. Huge plus. -fits both my large dog and smaller breed. Seem to have a good battery life and connects pretty quick around the yard. -I haven't tested the lost dog feature yet, I'll update when I do. Cons - Like other products, you get a circular area as a safe zone. It's often large and difficult for city yards. I have an over sized yard but it looks like a T. It did allow me to make several overlapping safe zones which was also easier than tractive. I would love to be able to draw my own boundaries. The other issue I see immediately is the attachment to the collar, I feel like if the dog actually gets out ( he has before) he will knock it out of the holder easily. As a result I ordered a few small Velcro straps to reinforce it. Otherwise. So far so good

Worst consumer product in my 75 years on this planet.
I don't normally write a review trashing a product. But this product trashed me. First of all, I spent 8 hours trying to get it set up, during which time it kept telling me that the tracker was 20 yards south of me, in the middle of our county road. I contacted customer service & got a speedy reply with instructions, but it was only after I read the user manual that I realized YOU CAN'T SET UP THE TRACKER INSIDE YOUR HOUSE (unless maybe you live in a tent or yurt) because the GPS signal can't penetrate inside. And, even after I finally got the bloody thing set up--outside--the app insisted on telling me that MY location was still in the middle of the road. And, even if both my location and the dog's had been correct, I wouldn't have been able to let the dog out for a pee unless I went with him (and don't you dare chide me for that, because we're way out in the country on 127 acres & train our dogs not to go near the road). All that said, when I installed the thing on the dog--and 100% certain I did it securely--the dog ended up losing it today on neighbor's ranch about 1/4 mile from me. And, because it didn't show MY location on the app (only the dog's), there's no hope of finding it. Not in the wooded area where it seems to have come loose. Oh, did I mention that, before the dog lost the tracker, the app was only showing me updates every 10-15 minutes? When I finally switched to "Find Lost Dog" mode it behaved more reasonably. But the other modes were useless given the glacial update rate. As I said, I rarely trash a product. But this one was useless, useless, infuriatingly useless...

So far, so good!
I've had this for about 2 months and really used it twice, but so far it does what I need it to do. I got this to look after my cat while I was away for a few days. I still had someone check up on her every day but it gave me piece of mind, which is what I needed! Installation is super easy with the app and the picture quality is great. Night vision works well too. The sound detector function works, but I can't say it works well? It's supposed to alert you when the camera detects noise, like if your dog barks. Sometimes it seems to alert me of the smallest noises and then it won't alert me at all when my cat sitter stops by and she's actually talking loudly. I did have an issue with it disconnecting from wifi while I was away and I had to have someone connect it for me since I could not do it while I was away. (Also good to know!) Makes sense you'd have to be on the same wifi to connect the camera. Lastly, the function to talk to your pet and hear your pet simultaneously does not work for me. There's too much feedback happening in my phone to be able to listen and talk. I basically have to mute sound in order to talk, and then mute myself in order to hear. Not the best, but it's not a deal breaker since my cat is a cat and doesn't listen to commands anyway. Price is also good. Seemed like an affordable option with pretty good reviews.

Excellente caméra avec micro et enceinte
Super caméra, petite jolie et pratique. Très bonne qualité de l’image de jour comme de nuit, le son est aussi très bon, c’est un vrai plus de pouvoir parler à ses animaux à distance.

Easy set up
I ordered two cameras, didn’t realize that it could only operate on 2.4GHz wifi, so I contacted customer support for help. They walked me through the process and it was actually super easy. One camera had a broken start button but they were more than happy to send me a replacement. So far I’m happy with mine!

Was purchased when my young cat was diagnosed with heart failure, to give me peace of mind during the day. Have since used it with the new kittens and greatly appreciated it when traveling

A Perfect Little Camera
This camera does exactly what I needed, to be able to see if my cat has eaten or not. The picture is clear, the audio is fine and the view is quite wide. The only quibble I have is I wish it was wireless, as you're beholden to where your outlets are. I would like to buy another, but I need to figure out where to put it and what outlet it can use. Other than that, it was easy to set up, I have never had an issue with the app, it's a perfect little camera, excellent value, especially for the price.
