Bosch GBA18V40-2PK 18V CORE18V® Lithium-Ion 4 Ah Advanced Power Battery, 2-Pack

Not much to say about them, they’re batteries. They were a great price, I get a little over an hour worth of usage out of them on my Bosch cordless sander, and that’s with the 4ah batteries. They do however take a long time to charge which probably has more to do with the charger then the batteries. But I will be ordering another two pack soon. It’s a great deal considering what Lowes is asking for them.

I date my batteries when I get them. I am still using 2.0ah Bosch batteries I bought in 2012! One is starting to lose it's longevity after TWELVE YEARS of use! These 4.0 batteries run tools forever, at a slightly higher weight than the basic 2.0ah pack. I grab batteries when they are on special and I just got four of these 4ah batteries to run bigger tools like saws and blowers. I have been a Bosch owner for 20+ years and have 17 tools that have run reliably and taken routine abuse.

So far so good. I really love (ok, like) my Bosch battery powered tools and the fact that they are using the same battery platform for so many years, and years to come.

Right product for the right thing

Great battery

Buy the real deal. I purchased some off brand batteries and they didn't last. Just buy the real deal, buy once, cry once. I didn't do myself any favors buying off brand batteries that did last.

Had my other batteries for 10 years. One of the two is completely dead after 3 months and maybe 2 recharges.

Bought 8 so far and 2 will not charge . Not sure if generic or not bit will trash if needed
