DB9-4P4C works great for me
This is a great cable. I got it to connect Skyfi 3 to my tablet using SkySafari. Works great. I may try to connect through my laptop with ascom at some point. I see no cons with this cable. The one I got does not have a usb connection. I have one already for other purposes I know works. Jack
