Works great, smells awful!
** I would like to add that while they are technically reusable I would recommend NOT reusing them after a certain time. I emptied one from last season and refilled it. The jar is working perfectly fine, and continues to catch flies. However the dead fly detritus that I emptied into a plastic bag and then tossed in my trash can has become a swarm of fly larvae. Hundreds of little worms hatched with in a day of rustling up and disturbing the trap. So either learn from my mistake and if you intend to reuse the jar, empty it and refill promptly. **This thing is great and disgusting at the same time. We live downtown and have dogs so we get a ton of flies in our yard, and this this is great. I got this jar one and the bait replacements and the jar gets filled up with flies in a month. The smell is awful... something between dog poo and death, but the flies go straight to it. To change the bait I put on disposable plastic gloves and dump the contents into a plastic ziplock bag and zip it up and throw it away on garbage day, gloves and all. I also keep it in the furthest corner of my yard which keeps the smell from being intrusive.

Fly trap
The fly trap worked very well, however, there was a very strong odor. We had to remove from garage. I would purchase again as it caught a lot of flies but put in a place without direct foot traffic to main house.

Super stinky!!!!
Though this product did catch a few flies I would not say it stands up to regular fly tape and don’t get me started on the stench. It was unbelievable. I put this in my garage left for the day when I got back. I almost was sick instantly walking in my garage, the smell of whatever liquid packet is in product permeated my entire 2 1/2 car garage on a cool day in a matter of hours. It is the worst smell I have ever smelled

Smells horrible to attract flies! It's all over my yard...
The scent of this product is the worst. I had good results with another brand and wanted to continue my killing of flies.Tried a cheaper brand "Catchmaster." Simple instructions, easy to use, horrific scent to attract flies. Filled to the appropriate level and suspended in a corner, away from the potential of smelling this with even the slightest breeze. The bad part was that the portion that supports the weight of this system broke loose and spilled its vagrant contents into my yard. One of my dogs didn't refuse the putrid odor and lapped it up (non toxic,) well some of it. The rest looked like a wet spot of dirt. Word spreads fast.Within a period of 3 hours (from when my wife notified me at work about the catastrophe that happened,) to the time I got home, I could understand why she vomited on the patio. The ground was solid black with flies. Any disturbance would send them into a frenzy. Looked like a scene from The Mummy when the plague took over the desert. There was nothing I could do to stop their draw to this milky, disgusting fluid. I had to endure the flies trying to penetrate my visible orifices, until I could collect the rancid moisture that collected in the soil. Shoveled this failed option for collecting flies into a bucket and tried my best to figure what to do next.Any ideas? How much does it cost to return to the manufacture to figure a solution, so this doesn't happen to anyone else?

Most effective bug trap ever!
Absolutely wonderful! The flying insects on my patio were getting “in line” to enter the trap (as if it were an all-you-can-eat BUFFET!!!!)…It filled up quickly, even before the next trap refill was delivered- very good purchase!!

The BEST and WORST product
This worked amazing! After 2 weeks it filled out with flys. The SMELL WAS THE WORST SMELL TO EVER EXIST. I will not buy again because it made my yard have the most unimaginable stink there is. Catching a wiff from the wind could put you into a a full thrown vomit. Now it’s full and I need to dispose of, but I’ll suffocate of the smell in that process so not sure what to do about discarding without dying.

Works great (just place it down wind)
This product is unbelievable. In 2 weeks it must have collected over 200 flies. (No I didn't count them). Huge difference. We can enjoy sitting outside again. The smell of the attracting can be off putting especially of you're sensitive to outdoors but that's also exactly what makes it work. Just keep it a fair distance away from where people are gathering and you'll be glad you bought it.
