Mdvr will keeps recording when the solar battery has power. that is to say, mdvr will working all the time if has power input.

Can i use a vga splitter to run two monitors, one in the camper and one in the truck?

NO, it can not use VGA splitter. however, the mdvr has HDMI/VGA/AV 3 video outputs. if you want to use 2 monitors, please use a monitor with HDMI or AV input, then it can work with 2 monitors at same time.

Hello i need to retrieve files from the dvr. how do i get them?

Go thru the menu and transfer the file for the time to a flash drive then just plug into a computer.

Second order of this unit

This is our second order of this unit. We wanted to increase the cameras on our truck. As usual the service was great and the delivery time was quick.
