We are absolute Bark Box toys loyalists, the flamingo we got today is our 7th toy from this brand since our Lucy was a puppy. She is about 30 pounds and plays pretty rough with her toys (lots of tugging and thrashing, and playing fetch!), but thankfully she is not overly destructive like some dogs are, which means these toys are heavy duty enough to withstand daily playing. She is coming up on a year now and we’ve had some of these toys since she came home. I could definitely see where these might not be the right fit (in terms of durability) for a dog who likes to absolutely destroy their toys - ripping them apart, pulling out the stuffing, etc. - but they are PERFECT for our pup and she loves to play with them. We especially appreciate how intentional Bark Box is with their designs: each toy has multiple elements to it (like crinkle, squeakers, fur, and tug ropes all in one toy for example), the packaging makes it easy to cut tags off, and we’ve put many of these toys through our washer and dryer over the months and they’re still going strong. Plus, they’re always in cute designs! We will absolutely be buying toys again from this brand in the future.

My dog loves this toy but it’s too new to rate durability thickness and stretch. I like that it has two different squeakers- one sounds like a little bird! Good variety of stimuli- crinkles, squeaks, tugs, flat felt, and rope all in one toy!

I got the flamingo for my pup who is a super chewer but is too rough for the nylon super chewer toys. She enjoys this toy a lot and has yet to rip it open which is an amazing accomplishment for her!

Love love, love Bark Box my dogs have a subscription. They hold up very great. Every now and then I’ll clean up the toys and then cycle them through with new ones or give them to my friends who also have dogs who are a little more crazy with their toys.

Coming back to add: it is now six months later, and he still loves this toy! The neck is holding on with the last three strings of the original braid, and some how there are no bald spots on the bird. Both squeakers are still going strong and no limbs or eyes have been lost. I’m very impressed. This toy arrived last week, and our 10 month old puppy plays with it for several hours a day! He was thrilled right out of the box, and has yet to kill either squeaker. Also of note: the soft feather covering on the bird body seems to be quite sturdy. We don’t have little bits of it all over the house like I thought might happen. So far the only “damage” on this you is dirt from our dogs mouth. Easily the best $10 I’ve spent in a long time.

We had this for about a week before our mini aussie ripped it. She played with it for many months after that and was delighted to find a Bark ball inside when I finally had to throw it out. The Bark ball has been her favorite toy ever since and it's still going strong a year later.

My dogs love it. Perfect toy to split into two or any kind of destruction my pups toss its way. Loved it so much I bought a new one 3 years later and they love the new one as well as the old one that is in 2 parts still hanging in there. Thank you BarkBox!

I have a pit bull mix, very hard on toys. He loves this for two reasons -- 1, it squeaked (past tense for the head -- the body still squeaks), and two, the heavy rope for the neck makes it a pull toy for games of tug of war. Like all Barkbox toys, it is extra sturdy. He did manage to eviscerate a different Barkbox toy after many weeks of concerted effort; that is a far better track record that many of the expensive toys I've bought him over the years. This is its replacement, and after a couple of weeks of effort, it is still in one piece.

My doggo Maggie loved it immediately! It is shakable, durable, loveable and has all the elements my girl loves in her toys. She likes to carry them on our walks and this one has lots of places to hold on to. Great buy!

It squeaks. It crinkles. It rolls. It tugs. Plus, there is a hidden ball inside to play with once they tear this toy to shreds. (I would buy the smaller version once available in Canada, but for now this one will do!)

Our dog had the head off this toy in less than 10 minutes from us giving her the toy. Not a tuff toy at all . Very unhappy with this tough toy. Garbage toy

Cute toy and my dog absolutely loves it, but in the first 10 minutes, he already chewed through the rope neck (and ate it), and chewed off other parts of it. Not durable at all for chewers

We bought this for our goldendoodle for Christmas. She had it ripped apart within 10 minutes. It didn't last any longer than the dollar store toys. Very disappointed.
