It’s just plain BIG!
So big that instead of mounting it onto the deck, we put it on a tall tree stump. Now it can be seen from all back windows of the house, which is an improvement.

Accuracy in doubt....
Bought the item March 4th... couldn't set it up for three weeks... I was on vacation... I.ve had it up a week... the temp is always reading four degrees warmer then the actual temp.... What can I do? Is there a way to re calibrate? Or adjust somehow?

A thermometer that does not tell you the temperature.
So first, the size is awesome. And thats where the positives end. I took this to my classroom to hang on the wall so my students can complain about how hot it is. Our school has no AC. Well, the first day, the needle quickly climbed to 80 degrees. Great! Looked like it was working. But that's the only temp it stays at now. It never moved again after the first day. The room has fluctuated in temperatures from 70 to 90 but this thermometer always told us it was 80. The problem is the way it measures air temperatures. Its a copper(?) coil on the back. And thats all it is. I guess it supposed to expand or contract as the temps change, which would then move the red needle. Ugh. What a terrible buy. Go buy a regular mercury thermometer.

Large size - Accurate Thermometer
This thermometer is certainly big, bold and easy to read. It is a no-nonsense design. I tested it & it measures outdoor temperatures perfectly.

Not water proof
It may be for outdoors but it rains in it. In the winter it will freeze, I returned it. Otherwise I like the size of it
