Perfect for storing laptops and other valuables. The only real issue is the display and you have to be at eye level with the display to be able to read it. Only one key is provided but there is an external battery back up if the batteries go flat. Quality and fitting options excellent. I would have given 5 stars if the display was more prominent.

It is hefty and has thick steel door. It isn't so heavy or bulky that someone couldn't pick it up and run off with it so you need to bolt it down. It probably would cause a thief an extra 15 mins to get into with a cordless angle grinder. It works to stop the casual "no tools" burglar. This design seems to be 15-20 years old in what it does and the components it uses. Which is a shame rather than a "reject" issue. (I used to design small electronic devices around 20 years ago!). The pin code entry (up to 8 numbers) and key are fine. The fingerprint programming and reading are not good. Think 1st gen phone or computer fingerprint quality. That gets annoying when you 'fail' 3 times as the alarm goes off! Regularly fails to open if you have dry fingers! Try breathing on them before trying to open it! It isn't current generation computer keyboard quality! The display has to be looked at straight on - don't place this low and look down on it, you will have to squat to get eye level with it! This is a major usability flaw and would have been an easy fix at design time rather than in use! It isn't for crown jewels but it does seem effective for the price and expectations. Good place for securing things that are important rather than vital or really expensive. It beats a locked drawer, but also means a thief will know that is where you have your most valuable items. Maybe it would make a good decoy and then hide your diamonds in a box of Frosties! :-) We have several safes to divide the goodies - I sort of want the thief to be cursing as they come across another and when they get in they are disappointed at another pile of papers or backup discs!

I like to play with my cats in the house and garden, so I often leave the doors open. Now I have this bolted dfown, I can bang my expensive tech into it without worrying about it all lying around!

This seems to be a well made safe, easy to fit to something immovable with bolting holes at the back and floor of the safe. Electronic unlock is easy to use.

Der Safe ist sehr geräumig, macht einen stabilen Eindruck, ist aber definitiv nur auf dem Niveau eines Hotelzimmer-Safes. Das mitgelieferte Befestigungsmaterial ist allerdings von sehr schlechter Qualität. Die Dübel halten nicht in der Wand, am besten gleich andere verwenden.
