The Perth boat shoe comes ashore in Rockportโs Ports of Call collection. The full-grain leather upper wears well, conforming to the foot over time for a personalized fit, and the padded tongue and collar help protect from excessive rubbing and prevent blisters. To ensure steady footing on land or at sea, a rubber outsole provides durable grip on a variety of surfaces, and a built-in heel cup in the footbed offers medial/lateral heel support. Review: The only boat shoe worth buying. - A lot of what passes as boat or deck shoes these days are made of a line of leather slapped onto a thin layer of plastic (aka sole) These Perth are properly made. The sole has a middle layer of cushioning and the quality of the outer layer is what you expect from Rockport. The insole is specially crafted and beautifully made, instead of a slice of cheap foam that you find in other deck shoes that cost the same SRP. My only gripe with these shoes is the width. If you are not wide footed you would struggle to wear your size without socks, which is a shame as many would like to wear their deck shoes without socks. Oh, well, there is always the invisible trainer socks if you don't want to cramp your style. Still a 5/5 is what it deserves. If you ever wanted to own a pair of boat shoes, these are the ones. Review: Great quality, great fit and they look nice. - Nice shoes. Had these before but from a different supplier but the quality is the same. Very smart, non slip, very comfortable and arrived bang on time. Many thanks.

Well made product
Iโm usually a size 9 (43) But they seem to have come up a little tighter than expected, but Iโm hoping that they will stretch a little as I break them in (maybe advise buying a half size up than your usual size) Other than that they are a very well made & good value for money deck shoe..!

Great shoe but small fit order up 1 size
Great boat shoes bought these to replace previous pair Iโd had for years. They do come up small though I had to exchange my UK 10 for an 11 and they fit fine.

A bit oversized.
I already had these exact shoes in size 10, now about six years old and looking a bit old, decided to get a new pair, a 10 always fits me in any make of shoe so ordered 10s, they were surprisingly big and I could walk out of them easily. I returned them and ordered a 9 1/2 which are still bigger then expected, I can get them on and off without untying after only 2 weeks use. I think that when they are 'broken in' they will be falling off! I recommend that you order a full (UK) size less than normal with this shoe unless you want a really loose fit. I need to wear thicker socks now to keep them on. NB the above does refer to wearing thinnish cotton socks, which will make a difference.

Rockport Perth Boat Shoe
Good quality shoes and very comfortable. They fitted well straight out of the box. Some of the other brands are rather narrow in width but these were fine. On some other reviews there have been problems with sizing but I am happy to say I ordered UK size 10 and got size 10. No problems.

Advertised sizes are wrong, wide-fit shoes are still narrow
I'm a big fan of Rockport shoes from my time living stateside, but had to give up here. In theory, making shoes available direct from the USA is a good idea, but not if you advertise the sizes wrongly. These were advertised as UK size 10, wide fitting, which is my size. What I received were US size 10, which is more like UK size 9-9.5, so obviously these were always going to be too small. I'm awaiting Amazon's returns service to work its way through, although it doesn't help to have to send this back to the US for ยฃ15 with no hard guarantee that the postage will be refunded. However, I will update this review once that has concluded, so you can learn from my experience. Beyond that, there's nothing else wrong with these shoes: their build quality is great (which is why I'm a fan) and they look great. However, I would question whether these are really wide fitting, as they are way too narrow (I'd expect a size down to be too snug, but not impossible to put on. I want nothing more than to be able to get my hands on a nice pair of Rockports, and want nothing less than to have to go through a lengthy returns process: so far, this has been the worst of both worlds, but a swift refund (including duty paid and postage) will change my mind on the scoring. But please, Amazon, let's at least get the proper UK sizes listed. UPDATE: I got my money, duty and postage, minus ยฃ2.50, refunded. Positive, I guess, but I'm now ยฃ2.50 out of pocket for Amazon's mistake. Great experience there. In future I'm going to give anything with the "Global Store" tag a wide berth, as even independent Chinese stores give better service than this (they invariably make you whole after their mistake). This review stays at 1 star for the poor description, dubious width fitting and less-than-hassle-free returns process that leaves you out of pocket.
