Arguably the best replacement clutch/fork kit for Focus/Fiesta. Always replace the forks!
Purchased for a 2012 Ford Focus SE with the infamous DPS6 dual clutch automatic-manual transmission. Unavoidably, the Dual clutch assembly, clutch forks, electronic fork actuators and even the TCM (Transmission control Module) eventually fail (some or all of it), and it bricks the car. The lazy mechanics over at the Ford dealership put a new LUK clutch in it about 20K miles ago (OEM clutch shuddering problem) but didn't bother to replace the forks or clean out all the lingering clutch dust from the worn-out OEM clutch. Because of that, the transmission failed again and this time one of the OEM clutch forks completely failed. The fork drive shaft sheared off internally from the roller/spring assembly and dumped tiny ball bearings all over the inside of it. I pulled the transmission out of the car, pulled it apart, bought this excellent kit that comes with everything you need to rebuild the clutch-side of the transmission (minus the special tool needed), re-assembled and installed back into the car. It has never shifted and operated as smooth as it does now. For good measure, I chose to replace the actuators and the TCM as well. Also, a good time to fix other common failure points on these cars such as the driver's side motor mount, the fragile little plastic coolant lines that run across the top of the transmission back over to the coolant reservoir, and to clean the carbon build-up out of the head intake ports since this is a GDI engine design. Most importantly, if you are going to replace the clutch on these cars, replace the forks too, no matter who is going to do the work. If you take it to a mechanic, make sure they do it. They are simple to do and after having it all apart on the bench, they are probably the most precarious points of future grief.

Must Buy
The Luk rep set is what to get, don't trust the cheap remanufactured clutches for around 200, most of them don't work from experience ,you get what you pay for. If you invest in this set ,you won't be disappointed, I've bought two and they both worked flawlessly. Very good parts company ,if you have a broken or defective part which is rare, they will replace it. They don't mess around and are very quick on shipment of their parts ,just make sure to contact through Amazon through text chat, not directly and do not contact the luk Company ,they will not help you,Amazon only ๐๐

This is the Ford Clutch Kit you need to fix your dual clutch.
I purchased this kit (more expensive) and a lower priced kit hoping I could save a couple hundred dollars. I got both in and after looking at the quality difference returned the lower cost and more cheaply made kit. The clutch mechanisms were better on the Luk kit and after a total of 61 hours of labor to do the rear nail oil seal, front brakes, engine and transmission mount, new starter, refurb of the corroded battery box, and complete clutch rebuild and seal replacement using the Luk dual clutch kit I have to say I am super impressed with this kit and wouldnโt hesitate buying it in the future for another repair (hopefully not on the Focus I just fixed for my niece โ it would have to be for another friend). The quality is apparent and frankly the cost of the part is just such a small investment compared to the time this repair takes. Good luck on your repair and make sure you have a way to retrain the transmission as well when you finish it. There are some great YouTube videos and I was going to make one until I found the one that pretty much beats them all. (It is 3 hours long but also covers the real main oil seal on the crank shaft).

Run as far as you can from this.
long story short: bad parts that didn't appear to be faulty, installed, ended up having to go to ford and buy OEM parts. Costed me double what it would've If I just went to ford originally Amazon and Schaffler (seller) both say there is nothing that they can do. DO NOT BUY THIS. This is quite a long review. First I had to get my ford focus DCT towed to the shop to get the clutch forks and clutch assembly replaced after clutch fork B threw a bearing. When the package arrived, it was pretty badly shipped, however nothing appeared to be broken. returning it was not really an option as I would have to pay get my car towed back while I wait for a replacement and then pay to get towed back to the shop. So I take it to mechanic and he says he does not see any discernible issue, and a return is not necessary. installs it and the car won't even start now. after some trouble shooting he gets it to start but there is serious grinding and crunching. Long story short. the Clutch, one of the clutch forks, and throw out bearing were all bad. My mechanic had to go to ford and buy from their parts department. I ended up having to pay for labor for the bad clutch as well as the new one. I now only have the bearing and clutch fork as my mechanic threw the other one out. can't submit a return on amazon. so I gave them a call. I "we cannot do anything, you will have to speak with the company who made it. " so I speak to the Schaffler auto group, and the representative tells me, "since you bought it from amazon, that is not our problem, you will have to speak with amazon." so at this point there's nothing I can do and I would seriously refrain from ever buying anything automotive related off amazon, nor would I purchase anything from the seller of this clutch kit. Go to dealer and pick up the parts yourself.

This is the recommended replacement clutch for the DPS6 transmission.
It installed ok, seems to be running well. For what they charge for it, I think they could have included a small disposable tube of the recommended grease needed for assembly. So I wouldn't have had to go searching for and had to buy a large tube of it. Only to use a couple of squirts from it and toss the tube into a drawer. Where it will probably now sit for the next 10-15 years. I don't know why they want to comment on durability and quality. It's only been in the car for about five days. It's lasted so far. Ask me in five to eight years, and I'll give my concerted opinion on Durability and Quality.
