So happy
I am soooooo glad I bought this. We always joke (itโs not a joke to me) that our pup went right from puppy breath to poop poo breath. Her breath was horrendous and just kept getting worse. The vet said that was just her and shared no concerns as her teeth and gums are healthy. I have never noticed a dog sleeping with her mouth open and drooling and waking up with a dry mouth (maybe this is normal but Iโve just never noticed before). Her breath was getting so bad I didnโt even let her get her face close to me at all. I finally couldnt stand it anymore so I went searching on Amazon to see if there was anything that would help. I started reading about the products offered that have a lot of reviews and the overall rating was 4.5 or higher. I always go to the negative reviews first because I want to know the cons first. The cons in this product werenโt that bad so I went to the pros and testimonials and thought the worst thing that could happen is that it just wouldnโt work. This product works. I canโt say that enough, IT WORKS. I noticed a change the very first night. She has now been using it for a week now and her breath keeps getting better and better. Now I must say you should read the directions first (which I didnโt do) for how much to use. I dumped a third of the bottle into 2.5 gallons of water which was way too much. Because of the cost I didnโt want to throw the water out and start over so I just researched and it said there was nothing in this product that she could overdose on so I kept the water. We have a fountain bowl so the water is constantly fresh. I noticed they didnโt like the taste but they need to drink so they are drinking it just not as much as before. When I add more water it just continues to dilute it so Iโm getting closer to the recommended dose. When I do totally change the water out I will add the recommended dose and Iโm sure they will not taste it at all. Now when I tasted and smelled it I could not taste or smell it at all but my senses are not as sharp as theirs obviously. For 2.5 gallons of water I should have only used around 10-12 teaspoons lol๐. Now I commented that the price was high because it is high if you buy it and it doesnโt work ( I wish that I could have gotten a sample size). Now that I know it works the price is extremely affordable. As for the side effects mentioned in the cons the only one I had is the taste which again is because I used way too much but I know they are acclimating to. I have a 5 year old and 15 year old and both beagles. There has been no throwing up and no diarrhea at all. I seriously recommend this product. If you buy I hope your results are as good as mine. What do you have to lose if you try it and it doesnโt work, a few dollars. What do you gain, a pup you donโt mind licking your nose or giving kisses to. Signed a happy happy customer๐ So Iโve been using now for 2 weeks and after attempting to overdose my dogs by not reading the instructions, they are still very healthy, no diarrhea or throwing up. They are still eating normal and have now acclimated to the taste. Breathe is still amazingly fresh. So at this stage I will again give it my stamp of approval ๐ This will probably be my last update. My dogs have been using for 6 weeks now and breath still fresh. Iโm pretty sure this will be my dog breath freshener for life including any new fur babies in the future. Earlier I mentioned a fountain water bowl. If you donโt have one I recommend. With the fountain very little Oxyfresh goes to waste. I only have to clean it about every 2 1/2 weeks. Before cleaning Iโm able to add the Oxyfresh as I add more water. I also think it gives constant rotation of water so my pups are always getting the same amount every time they take a drink. Again, I am a very very happy fur baby mother๐ So Iโm writing to give you an update. I have been using for a little over 3 months now and I smell a little from my 5 year old. I am confident that this is the norm. She still had gone to practically none when I first started her. Now another huge bonus: my dogs had their annual and the Vet couldnโt say enough how much their tartar had reduced and how healthy their gums are. Thatโs a win win for me especially when said last year that my 15 year old needed a deep cleaning which costs anywhere from $300-500. So you can easily see how much money OxyFresh could potentially save you. Iโm still very very happy and still keep my 5 which would be a 10 if they went that high for the rating. Sorry, Iโm updating again. So I had noticed odor coming back on my 5 year old. I increased the amount of Oxyfresh and she went back to nearly odor free. As I stated in my earlier posting there is nothing harmful here so if youโre noticing increased odor in your pet just increase the amount. Talk to your vet first but Iโm sure he/she will give you the thumbs up. Still in love with this product๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐

If your cat eats/chews on foreign objects--GET THIS!!
I was trying to look into why my cats are obsessed with chewing on plastic and why a friends' cat chews wires. I found out that a likely cause was dental problems. Which, if not taken care of, can be extremely costly, painful, and hinder your cats' quality of life greatly, just like in any human. So I did some research. Found out that most "dental" treats' logic is basically "it's crunchy, so it cleans your cats' teeth!" which is NOT true & is just going to cause your cats' teeth harm. So I did more digging. Then I found this. Looked into it, seemed actually science backed and not just a marketing ploy, so I went out and tried it. I'm So happy that I did. My cats are feeling much better, and I can tell! The first think I noticed was that their breath got better. I'm not worried about this for my sake--they're cats, their breath isn't going to smell like mint (as mint is harmful to them), but it was particularly awful. Like farts smelled better than their breath. THAT is not normal. It was sour, vinegary, meaty, rotten, yeasty, and stung my throat and eyes. THAT is not normal. But after about a month of trying this stuff, not only has their breath gotten down to tolerable (I mean, smells like stinky cat breath, but not An Odor Most Foul), AAAND I've noticed the following: -Their gums are no longer red & swollen (I didn't realize they were until I saw that they no longer were!) -They chewed plastic a lot less -They're more playful -They're more cuddly -They rub their gums on the corners of things way less -Their teeth doesn't have build up anymore For those of you worried: My cats both have sensitive stomachs. I started them off on the "sensitive" proportions for the first 2 weeks, then the next few weeks went onto using the normal proportions. They're both fine! They haven't noticed! There's not color, flavor (that I can tell, I haven't tasted it lol, and if there WAS, so little gets diluted in the water comparatively that your water overtakes the flavor), or odor of this stuff, so my cats can't tell that there's anything in their water! They drink lots of water every day, no problem. This is basically like how the USA adds fluoride to their drinking water to help with teeth & gum health--it's a minuscule amount so you don't get sick or taste it, but it's plenty to help out your dental hygiene! Just remember that this isn't a REPLACEMENT for brushing your cats' teeth! You still have to do that, just like how we in the US still have to brush our teeth despite the whole fluoride thing. But this certainly helps A LOT--and a lot quicker than I thought it would! I would put this on a "required" products list for any person who wants to actually take care of their cat. Just be sure not to add anymore than what the instructions say as to avoid making them sick, and be sure to stir the water up when you're done adding it! Place lots of large, flat bowls (maybe slightly risen) in every room to encourage them to drink water bc cats don't have a high thirst drive despite NEEDING lots of water. It's what we've always done and my cats drink water out of every bowl several times a day. I hope this works out for you like it did me! Good luck!

Works for mouth irritation
Seems to work for bad breath, sore mouth and drooling probably caused by irritation. My two little ones in the house are as picky as cats can be but drink water with this solution in it with no complaint. They especially like it fresh and cool from the icebox chiller. Shorty drew all the short straws for cats, he is now nine but he has had a life of trouble so I have gone through several rounds of problems with him. One is that he has terrible flea allergies owing, I read, to things in flea saliva. This summer he chewed himself raw. In the past he has also had a cancer and tumor on his gums and eye and Eosinophilic Granuloma in his mouth treated with surgery and cortisone respectively. This last round of his troubles I was afraid one of the two was back, I think not now. Instead I think his gums are irritated from so much chewing. He drooled a lot and it was colored and smelled bad. A few years ago, after the EG he had open sores in his mouth and we used a product similar to Oxyfresh. After about a week the drooling has been reduced and I clean his windowsill perch less and less, his breath is much better, he seems more relaxed and happier. Cats are hard to read, they will purr when they are happy or dying. Be sure to refresh the water and add the Oxyfresh regularly. I change water morning and evening. I use natural treatments as much as possible and again have used a flea collar with Citronella, Peppermint, Lemongrass, Cedarwood and Cinammon to good effect in about two weeks.

This is great for dogs or cats
I did not even know about this product. I recently adopted a cat and Iโm getting her neutered this coming week and the person that Iโm going through in the process of getting her neutered and checked her out recommended this sheโs not a year old but pretty close I did purchase it. I definitely recommend it for cats or dogs. So from what she shared with me, it would prevent bad breath gingivitis basically itโs like brushing your pets teeth for them and all you do is add it to their water great.

Easy Daily Add-On That Helps Freshen Breath
This water additive has been a simple and effective way to improve my dogs' dental hygiene without any stress or resistance. My dogs usually hates having their teeth brushed, so having something I can just add to the water bowl has made a big difference in keeping up with oral care. After consistent use, I noticed a clear improvement in breath odor. Itโs not an instant fix, but over time the smell became much milder and more manageable. It also gives me peace of mind knowing it helps reduce plaque and tartar buildup as part of a daily routine. I appreciate that it doesnโt seem to change the taste of the water enough to deter drinking, which was a concern at first. All my dogs continued drinking normally after I started using it.

Excellent product! Works! Highly recommend
Outstanding product! We have 2 Hava-Poo's and they are just the best, but their breathe was making me sick......we even took one in to the vet because of it and they removed 10 teeth....and it was 600$...we used this product and in the first 2 days!!! Their breathe is 100% better! We dont have to wash our skin if they lick us. This product is worth every penny! Highly recommend! The dogs seem to enjoy the taste ok. Bottle came with no leaks. There was a freshness seal. The size is prefect for our 4 Hava-Poo.

Oxyfresh Really DOES Work!!
Amazingly, a small amount of this unflavored, unscented additive works Absolute Wonders to rid the very poor smelling breath of my 18 yr. old Shih-Tzu. Overall, he smells MUCH better too because he is in the habit of licking himself ALOT. Before Oxyfresh, he'd soon smell unpleasant all over even just after a bath. Now, he can go a week without a full bath! My "pup" is very finicky, but is not at all bothered by the additive. I most highly recommend this product- it actually works!

Seems to do the trick
My rescue Lurcher had 17 teeth removed in her first year with us due to plaque build up so I was desperate to improve her oral hygiene. This (together with Plaque Off) seem to be keeping the plaque at bay so no more costly dental work in the last 12 months ๐
