Doesn't Kholer have any better quality items than this? The plastic nut is not really a nut and four pieces that grips the threads and soon fails.

Yes they are stainless steel, but they are of such a small diameter and fine thread they will strip out the plastic in a heartbeat. Don't think that you are going tighten them much all. I thru mine away.
