Do most users only use half a tablet? If so, what's the best way to cut them?

I don’t know if most people cut them in half but I do because my authorized Miele service person told me to. I use a plastic cutting board and a serrated edge bread knife to cut through them. It’s pretty easy and then you will have some residue that can either be thrown out or put into the next cycle instead of a 1/2 tablet. I also put the cutting board and the knife in that wash.

can you use these tabs with any dishwasher and get good results?

We use them and have had good results. Note that we do not use our Miele daily, because we have so few dishes just two of us, but when we did use it, the tabs worked fine.

These tabs have become dear. Recently I bought them through a local Miele appliance center vs. Amazon, although in the past they were cheaper on Amazon. Probably just due to the crisis in Europe and short supply so for now, get them from Miele.

Will freezing my tablets be a problem?

I have never done this. But the tablets are sealed and I don't think they disintegrate with air. I always buy the year supply and never had a problem. Suggest you pose the question with miele though.

These work great in a Miele dishwasher, rarely have to re-wash anything I put in the machine and I only ever pre-rinse items with large pieces of food still attached.
