Great value and a rather essential gadeget for rapid fault finding ..surprisingly good
It does not feel cheap nor expensive it has a good case , very easy to use and quite intuitive, no manuals but can be found by a Google trawl . The initial confusion over the numbering on the DIP socket is rapidly resolved once you realise there are only 3 inputs and these are repeated to support the lead pitch of different componenets. The KAA inputs are reserved for Zener diodes with the AA replicated again for pitch of leads. You can test on the box or remotely via the provided mini clip leads. The leads are a bit crappy but do a job, you may want to knock up some more robust ones eventually but these get you started. This little thing rocks ! It does not matter which way you connect any leads or any components the tester will work out the EBC or ANODE and cathode what ever and give you a graphical representation of the device together with HFE for transistors forward bias voltage for diodes, capacitance goes up to 100mf and also does ESR . It can measure resistance to quite low levels and with good accuracy and does batteries up to 4.5 volts and all manner of discrete semiconductors. I used it immidiately to fault find a project that got blown up after a short circuit many months ago and I had even for gotten how the circuit worked even though I designed and made it , the ease of use very quickly helped me get on the fault trail and had it back up and working in 15 minutes , I could have done this with a DVM and scope but i even managed to test in circuit with power off and CAPS discharged ( essential ) and tracked the fault to an LED that had gone bad and was acting as a resistor in both directions witha value of 160 ohms . The tester clearly reported this as a resistor and not a diode that was the clue I needed. This is clearly going to be a useful tool in the box not just for faults but testing all the crap lying around before I use it and to clearly identify resisitors and CAPS even indcutors , the value representation is better than a DVM you instantly know its 10k or 100 or 1000 no need to double check your decimal points or meter scale. I am middle age and myopic this device not only speeds things up but speeds up value checking which lets face it is a blasted chore. The battery may turn out to be a bit weedy but its not beyond our capabilities to fit a fatter cell , saying that it seems to charge pretty fast. For the money you really cant complain its a bargain.

Tests any electronic components
The tester is excellent for the money, it’s accurate, easy to use and tests any electronic components.

Good
Nice little meter. The probes are very tiny and dont think they'll last long. I though my old probes were small and these are tiny. Meter fine though

Quick component checker, don't expect accuracy.
If you want a quick component checker, then this is great. Don't expect accuracy, but if you want to check for a rough value then it is great. Good for checking transistor, diode and LED lead assignments. The infrared detector wasn't working for me. Not even sure if this is enabled on this version. Solid build, the interface connector is OK and is soldered to the circuit board, which is better than older devices where it just plugged and you got lose connections. The leads are a bit cheap, the idea another reviewer had of adding d banana sockets is a good idea and easy to do. The only down side is the lack of documentation. The IP address on the QR codes don't work. There is some helpful documentation on the amazon page, but is a bit small to read. I have so far managed to test LEDs, silicone transistors and capacitors. The KAA sockets are for testing zener diode, but have not tried this yet. Lack of documentation means I don't know what zener diodes it can test.

Great little tester for the money 👍
Nice little tester too have worked for all my transistors i needed to test and ok capacitor basic testing.

Superb Electronic Component Tester.
I love this gadget. Tests and measures any electronic component with a single button press. Great value. An updated version of one used by a colleague. Arrived in one day!

For reference size, a cd below the tester.
If you want a capacitor tester at a budget price, This is good, on a down side, leads could be longer. Not really a problem. I like it. I am a retired TV engineer still fixing stuff.

For the price...remarkable
So out of the box it was charged. Dead easy to use and with a nice zip socket it makes testing most devices easy although you would have trouble putting some power transistors into the socket. It does come with three flying leads too although these are a bit flimsy. It also comes with a capacitor and an LED for you to test! Tests take a few seconds and the colour screen gives a clear indication of device pin outs which is really what I want it for. Accuracy of resistance measurements is probably within a percent or so. I have a high precision set of resistances and my £300 fluke meter reads 50.02 K with a 50 K example. The device showed 49.7K....not bad.. It tests bipolar and FET devices, diodes, zeners, resistor, inductors and capacitors. I would treat esr values for capacitors with a little latitude! I tried it On some remotes as it tests those too. Some it did identify and some it did not...really a trivial function for my purposes. Overall for the price it is remarkable. Remains to be seen now long it lasts but it is already a must have item on the bench.

Excellent little thing.... Very nice. I also use an analog tester so if i check both i know fairly good what i am dealing with when it comes to germanium transistors. Also gives the location of the E B and C which is handy. Great to check the value of transistors and diodes easily. For the money it is a steal.
