V12 Footwear, VR600.01 Bison IGS Safety Derby Boot, Size 8 UK, Black

2018 to 2023 I've two pairs of V12's, I use these ones 90% of the time doing electrical work. so these are used in plant rooms, on ladders and occasionally on broken ground on sites. They have survived well, I fitted speed laces when the original ones got a bit threadbare and you can see the soles and toes have suffered as expected. They are still kinda usable and are not letting in water, but these are now ready for the bin and a new pair is on the way. Overall I'm very happy with the longevity and continue to recommend them.... This is my original 1 Year review.... I've walked every kind of Dewalt boots (company supplied as I worked for DeW) to bits within a couple of weeks, most are fancy looking garbage, but both pairs of V12s, these and a pair of high legs have been sooooooo comfortable, warm and hard wearing that I spend my own money on them over the job supplied ones. Just excellent boots, great spread of weight on the tread if you're on your feet a lot and just the right compression on the heel when walking. The grip is good in the wet and the tread is not chunky so doesn't collect mud and dirt too badly. The leather has taken a lot of abuse and a bit of Renapur brings it back to life, highly recommended. As others have said, consider buying a size smaller than normal, I am UK10 in everything else but UK9 in these.

A very good quality boot, I usually get the slip on but decided to return to lace up for better ankle support. Well made quality boot.

These are comfortable and better than the previous version that they replace in the way they have been designed and i will buy again having had 8 pairs of the pervious ones.

As mentioned in other rreviews, these come up very big on sizes. Im a size nine, got these in a nine but they're more like a 10 and a half. Id say buy a size smaller than usual and get some thick insoles and very thick socks. Ankle seems designed for somebody with ankles like treetrunks. Mine are not and as a result my socks keep sliding down into the boots. Have to wear 2 pairs of thick socks and lace the boots up very tightly to correct this. Overall, Quality is great though. Tough, waterproof and excellent laces. UPDATE Had these for 10 months, uppers are indestructible, but the heel wore through and is hollow so once worn through, it collapses and twists ankle. If these had a solid heel they'd be perfect....

These boots are very comfortable. I am a truck driver, climbing in and out the cab, climbing in the back of the truck to move freight about, these boots support and protect my feet. The best thing I have found, my feet do not ache or feel tired at the end of the working day. I definitely recommend these boots.

These are very generous width and size fitting. Plenty of room for thick socks and loads of room with the padded ankle. Build quality very good and lacing system excellent. Sturdy & Solid. No hesitation in recommending
