I hate wearing bulky headsets and spent a lot of time trying to find a way to connect Apple Earpods to my desktop PC since desktops only have split headphone and microphone jacks. Almost all the standard adapters out there do not work with Apple headsets because Apple uses a modified CTIA standard. This adapter said it will work with any standard and it seems true. Both sound and microphone work, however this adapter uses a generic audio driver so there is no Microphone Boost option in Windows. The microphone volume seems quieter when I tested a recording, but when doing voice calls people have said my microphone sounds just fine. Also know any inline volume controls do not work on headsets. I am just glad I can finally use a lightweight headset on my desktop PC which works good enough for gaming chats. Also I should mention the build quality of the device, it is made of metal and seems solid. Some similar devices I've seen use a generic design and just put their brand logo on it, but this product seems unique and from a brand I have actually heard of. I would have preferred a cable adapter, but as a workaround I have a 12" USB extension cable that I plug the adapter into.

Works well. Don't have any complaints so far. My brand new $550 gigabyte motherboard failed on the audio jack in the back. I tried for weeks to try to get it fixed and I'm really not in the mood to RMA my motherboard for one thing that could be fixed with a $15 item. The amount of work it would take to take the motherboard apart would be several hours and then I wouldn't have it for over a month. This is a good alternative. If you're audio jack in the back goes out. Just plug it into a USB port and there's plenty on most motherboards and plug the audio jack in it fit perfectly fine and fit right into the USB ports. Can't be any easier than just plugging something in easy enough to install. What more can you say?

You have problem when you recently update to windows 10 or 11 update and it mess up you're audio drive and your tryna fix your computer for hours get this it works specially if you're computer audio driver die or just stop working because I got this because I recently updated my computer to windows 11 and it mess up my audio drivers or the problem called " there no audio driver installed on this computer" definitely I recommend this plus it sound a little better plugged in than it is using Bluetooth I have dual Bose headphones wired and Bluetooth enabled pretty much sounds better than plugged in physically get it tho this what you need

This is exactly what I needed. I got a gaming headset for Christmas because I like to play games on my computer but didn't have a very good working mic to talk to my friends. I was very excited to use them, but after plugging the headset into my laptop, I was disappointed to see that it wasn't getting detected by my headphone jack. After testing the headset on other computers and realizing it was my laptop's issue, I almost resorted to buying a new laptop altogether. Luckily, my brother recommended I get some sort of adapter to plug my headphones into a different port. I immediately bought this and could not be more satisfied! It's compact and was easily recognized by my laptop. It also saved me hundreds I would have spent on a new computer! I definitely recommend this product.

It works. Seems made of quality stuff so far. I'm using it with an inline (phone) headset plugged into my PC which is running Solus OS Linux. To get this working in Discord to speak and to listen, for example, I had to use Pulse Audio (free audio settings control program for Linux), go under Configuration settings, and, once plugged in, choose USB Audio and set it to "Analog Stereo Duplex" - "duplex" reflecting input & output (microphone and earphones), apparently. So far, so good!

I tried plugging this product into both of my computers and not only does it not work, but both my computers will just act like it doesn't even exist even if I go into my sound settings and look for the "RealTek USB 2.0 Audio" (which just isn't there to begin with). If you want to save yourself a headache, I definitely would not recommend buying this product.

Antecedente: Armé una PC con una Motherboard Asus Prime. Problema: La salida de audio que tiene es pésima con un volumen insuficiente. Solución: Esta USB de Ugreen, amplifica el sonido y tiene una calidad asomborsa, volumen altísmo y bajos profundos. Lo recomiendo ampliamente!

very high quality sound without noise

Je cherchais un moyen d'utiliser mes écouteurs de smartphone. Cet clé usb permet cela ! On peut utiliser en même temps le micro et les écouteurs. J'avais souvent des soucis au niveau de la qualité d'enregistrement et d'écoute avec les cartes son de mes ordinateurs fixes et portables. Avec cette clé Ugreen, je n'ai pas été déçu. Tout fonctionne bien et la qualité est toujours impeccable. Jamais de grésillement ni de soucis de compatibilité. J'ai testé d'autres produits du même genre mais celui-ci est vraiment de meilleure qualité. La prise jack femelle est résistante. Je recommande ce produit ! Je regrette même d'avoir hésité si longtemps à l'acheter

Me compré recientemente un ordenador de sobremesa al que no podía conectar unos cascos que tenía ya que el ordenador tenía la entrada y salida de audio separada mientras que los cascos con auricular funcionaban mediante un solo jack, además, el cable de los cascos era demasiado corto para alcanzar a la parte trasera de la caja. Tras buscar varias soluciones terminé encontrando esta que resultó ser la más barata y mejor. Funciona sin tener que instalar ningín programa y no se pierde nada de calidad de sonido, ni de entrada ni de salida.
