Tasty Bite makes great products. Living too far away from any Indian restaurant is a bummer, but Tasty Bite helps with those cravings. I've also noticed that when I use a different 90 second rice pouch product (Like Uncle Ben's or others), I'm more likely to get G.E.R.D. or acid reflux - not with Tasty Bite rices. I've been using their products for at least 15 years or so. I wish that they would make a SAMBAR pouch.

it's OK as a rice base, but lacks zest as a standalone.

Serving size is printed as two (2)...but I never have leftovers! Package is easy to microwave (90 seconds per instructions, but 1 minute is fine); just squeeze a little to break up the grains and tear small slits on each side of the top. Goes well with a wide range of main dishes, chicken, fish, or pork. May be a little dry, add extra coconut milk or sesame oil for a vegan treat, or butter and shredded cheese, if you tolerate dairy well. First time ordered, will definitely reorder! Recommended for anyone who is looking for something a little different or a bit of spice.

I want to like this more, because I love everything else they make, but this doesn’t work. It’s the way it tastes... it doesn’t taste like a herbal lime or lemongrass-like flavor. It tastes very artificial, like lime perfume. Everything else they make tastes authentic and really good.

Not as loose grained as pictured on the cover. The flavor is there but the rice is so mushy, soft and wet and clumped. I've had food from this brand before which were okay, but they missed the mark on this rice. Luckily I also bought the same flavor from another brand which tasted much better and has regular fluffy loose grains and tons of flavor. I wont be reordering this one.

This is a really good food product. My grocer carries lots of other options by the same brand, but quit carrying this one, thus my Amazon order. I live with housemates who have the first "dibs" on the kitchen, so I need food that's easy to prepare in my microwave. This is perfect. Sometimes I put tuna or shrimp with it and sometimes add a little ranch dressing to what's left over.

I was a little skeptical about this product but figured I would give it a go. I purchased these for eating at work as they required no additional ingredients or utensils to prepare. I was pleasantly surprised that the rice came out nice and fluffy and was full of taste! I will definitely purchase again and maybe try a different flavor this time (my purchase was of the thai lime rice) . The rice cooks in less than 2 minutes which makes this a great meal for someone in a hurry or on the go!
