Creamy and chewy? Yeah, and clean?
I dumped regular oatmeal years ago for steelcut oats. The texture is amazing, so is the flavor. Then, I found One Degree in a search, and went for it. The reviews were very good, so it was worth a try. All I can say is "WOW!" The taste is excellent, and you can eat it creamy. Use a little less water and cook for an extra couple of minutes, and you can have it chewy. Now, if you worry about carbs, it is 19 net carbs per serving. However, I eat it cold. Why does that matter? After you cook up a batch, stick it in the refrigerator overnight. It transforms into resistant starch, which doesn't have the same spike in blood sugar. Take a big chunk of it, add cinnamon, blueberries, walnuts, maybe a monkfruit sweetener, and you've got a great tasting morning dish that is healthy, and satisfying. Want more fiber? Mix in a teaspoon of psyllium husk powder. All this plus solid value. Five pounds at a very good price. I haven't found anything that rivals One Degree.

Best Sprouted Rolled Oats There Is. Stop Looking.
Need a short Review??? BUY NOW, stay healthy. This Brand of Sprouted Rolled Oats is the clear winner when researched, for me. Organic, NON GMO, Glyphosate Free. I would suggest eating RAW but you can also eat cooked if wanted. The texture is perfect, without an overnight soak, in my opinion. It depends on the texture you desire though. I personally put about 1/2 cup uncooked oats into a bowl, add fruits, nuts, coconut milk, etc. and mix it up with a spoon. I let sit in the fridge, for about 25 minutes. This time seems to give the perfect texture, slight bite left to it. For people that want to skip making bowls of this, you can also easily add these to your protein shakes before blending! I have started doing that as well, I add 1/4th a cup. They will thicken up the protein shake a lot so add extra water/liquid. These smell wonderful, so fresh! My new favorite food. Enjoy!

Cooks up with creamy background but keeps some "bite"
Great oats. Use a little less water than they suggest, and simmer on a very low heat for about 10 minutes. Cooks up with a creamy base, but the flakes don't disintegrate and retain some bite or chewiness. I especially like the creamy base when made with milk instead of water.

Yes good product
They didn't arrive and said delivered elsewhere and then lo and behold arrived! They're great gluten free oats and thick and very flavorful. I use them almost everyday and I am impressed with their quality and freshness! Texture and size are A+ cook time is dependent upon how you like your oats. You can pour hot water over them and they will soak up most of it and not get super soggy. Will buy again!

Creamy, Chewy, Healthy Goodness
This is wonderfully delicious oatmeal. It has a satisfying chewy, creamy texture with a hint of sweetness. I bought it since it's Glyphosate free, non-GMO, and sprouted. Sprouted grains are supposed to be easier to digest with more nutrients. Simple food without chemicals is the best for our bodies!

Expensive BUT Worth Every Penny
I’ve been eating oatmeal (with blueberries) daily for over 20 years — after all, oatmeal is the breakfast of champions. Sometimes I even eat it in the evening. I’ve tried nearly every oatmeal there is…and had been partial to Bob’s Red Mill for the last couple years. But after hearing & reading some negative things about how Bob’s processes their oats was very concerning to me because it was found that Bob’s was not entirely “gluten-free” as they claim. I sought out One Degree due to their claim of natural oat harvesting and being 100% gluten-free. At first I wasn’t sure if I liked this oatmeal or not because it’s a much thicker grain and different texture (like rice) than I’m used to…but after a few days I was hooked (and now my wife is too) and been eating it for almost 2 years. This oatmeal is not easy to find so I usually purchase it at Whole Foods because they seem to be the only grocery store that carries it. Hopefully more places start carrying it too. Costco had once (for a week — 5lb bag for $9 on sale for $6! I wish they carried it more often because this oatmeal ain’t cheap ;) FYI stove top cooking: add more water than the directions state…and cook it longer too (that’s how I like it) SK Tip: prepared as overnight oats in the fridge is the BEST…and has a very unique bite & texture to it and kinda reminds of shredded wheat. Besides, who wants to eat hot oatmeal in the spring & summertime? Not me :)

Unpleasant hard hulls in oats
The almost perfect oats! Flavor, texture, quality is on point! I’m so sad for one unfortunate flaw! They leave some of the hard exterior hulls and for me it ruins the bowl of oats! I’m enjoying the warm smooth texture and then it’s ruined by the hard hull “shells” that are unpleasant in texture, difficult to digest and inedible. I do wish they’d fix this and ensure all the hulls are removed, they’re inedible and hard on digestion! I have to switch to another oatmeal because of this since my child enjoys oatmeal with me and I’m always worried she’ll choke on the hard shells, not to mention how rough that is on their little digestive tract. So unfortunate because the oats themselves have great quality. I just found myself constantly having to spit out those hulls, which made it not worth it to me.
