Awesome time and money saver.
Transponder was easy to setup with account through Florida. Used it on trip through Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Transponder worked flawlessly allowing me to travel without stopping to get a roll ticket or pay a toll. Saved $$$ instead of billing by license plate. Automatically advanced funds as needed. No annual fee either!

Wonderful product, would buy again but don't need to.
Bought while traveling in the NE. But even though based in FL, worked well. Have used for a year without problems. Especially like the NO monthly FEE aspect, yes you pay for the highway or bridge, but not just to have it and use it. And you can, after registering it, move it from one vehicle to another. Size good. Fits, works.

Practical Solution for Tolls
It's very easy to set up, ideal for uninterrupted travel, and offers great convenience by eliminating the need to stop at toll booths. We can also mention that the automatic recharging feature is very practical.

no monthly fee
I had one and left it in a rental car by mistake as I was rushing to catch a flight. So, I bought a new. I had deactivated my lost one immediately to avoid any charges. I previously had a PA EZ-pass transponder. The usable area was not that large plus there was a monthly fee. I have used this through PA to Niagara Falls, PA down to Virginia Beach, and I use it with rental cars (mostly FL). It’s easy to switch the car info on the app, never had issues with using. I am so glad I switched to this. The initial price was good and you can easily set up a replenishment amount so you don’t have to worry about not having enough money in account.

Saved lots of money being able to move between cars and use in a rental
For our recent trip to Florida, our rental car company was going to charge us per day to use a plate pass and they were going to charge us the full price for tolls (not discounted pricing). So we purchased a uni and since you can use it in multiple cars, we set it up, set the license plate after we got the car with the app. It worked great and our tolls were using the discounted rate. Once we turned the car in, we switched our license plate back to our home vehicle. I love that it works for 19 states too.

Has some limits. Needs ability to add a 2nd car to app.
As a frequent traveler and going between New England and the Southern states a lot, carrying both an EZ Pass and SunPass became a pain. Especially if you forget one. When I saw this, I figured I’d give it a shot. It’s a little more expensive on Amazon, but with wait times 2+ weeks on the EPass website, I figured it was worth the few dollars. Activation was a bit tricky. There’s 3 “serial numbers” printed on the unit - guessing one for E Pass, one for SunPass and one for EZ Pass systems and the instructions don’t specify which one you need to activate it on the website. Once I tried them all, the third one was the charm and it loaded and activated fine. A big negative for me is that you can only put one vehicle on the account at a time. So if you are renting a car, like me, you have to remember to log in, remove your existing info, and add your rental car. Then, remove the rental car and add your own, when done. EZ Pass and SunPass allow that easily. I do like not having two different transponders. I used it recently and worked well. It will take about a day or so for the amount in your account to change. At first I thought I did something wrong, but the customer service rep said it was just because of the way the services communicate, rather than a problem with the service, so expect a delay in your current balance if you check after going through a toll plaza. EZ Pass (depending on the state you get it from) either charges a monthly or yearly fee, or depending on your home state, gives you a discount for certain bridges. I don’t believe this will give any of those discounts, but I’m OK with just knowing I won’t have two transponders or dealing with annual or monthly fees. I also like that it works with so many states. I likely won’t be visiting most of the ones other than the typical East Coast, but I’m glad to have it. So far, so good. App is straight forward on the iPhone. Just wish they would add the option for a second car so you don’t have to delete your existing car to add a new one. For those with two cars regularly (rentals, or spouses, etc), you’ll probably want a separate transponder (or the sticker, which affixes to your windshield) rather than the hassle. I’ll be happy to be returning my SunPass and EZ Pass in the coming weeks. Update: On a recent trip, went through a Mass toll and still haven’t been charged. Not sure if there’s a problem with the unit (it’s been a few weeks) and all the other toll plaza’s in the other states registered ok. Hoping I don’t get a bill in the mail because this didn’t work in Mass (it’s supposed to). There was a sign saying EZ Pass from Mass was one price, EZ Pass from another state was another, and plate by mail was a third price. Assuming this wouldn’t get the Mass discount but won’t be pleased if I get billed by mail whether bc it didn’t work or simply isn’t an “EZ Pass” but an EZ pass “compatible” unit.

A must for anyone who drives in multiple states with tolls
If you're like me and drive through several states with tolls, sitting in lines to pay tolls with cash/card is a pain. The E-PASS simplifies this by working with toll systems in 19 states. Just load the device with money online and you're done. Now I am not searching for cash/coins to pay an attendant at the toll booth, I just drive right through. Using a device like the E-PASS also gives you discounts on tolls in many states (instead of using cash) so it pays for itself over time. It's convenient to auto reload when the device gets below a user defined balance. It is so simple/inexpensive I got an E-PASS for my wife's car so we each have a device and don't have to worry about remembering to grab a share one when we travel.

Awesome product, works great!
Did a trip from SWVA to northern WI... avoided tolls on way up because forgot EZpass. GPS said that route would add less than 2 hours. Lied! Bought this with overnight delivery, and the trip home was so much easier! It works by putting a credit card on file and it automatically reloads at your specified amount when it gets low. You glide right through all the EZpass lanes without needing to stop or carry cash or remember which toll you missed. The suction cups don't hold, so buy some velcro tape.

Bonne route!

The uni-pass worked perfectly across NY, MA and NH interstate toll highways in a Canadian rental car. It is not possible to set up the E-Pass app with a UK address or phone number but, if you phone the customer service number once you have the registration number of your rental car they will sort it all out and add credit for immediate use. Using the tolls calculator on the ez-pass websites for each state we worked out how much the tolls would be and added enough credit to cover our whole trip saving a lot of hassle.

As described, you do need to use a USA address, phone number and Registration number to set up, but then can change the reg to a hire car when you pick one up
